Fresh off their ethereal harmony-driven release on Sengiley Wax at the end of 2023, Minor Sine Project are back with their first official LP, "Fata Morgana". The album touches on an array of genres, blending elements of acid, breaks and minimal, all held closely under a cloak of lush harmony. "Fata Morgana" presents the boundaries of genre as a mirage, digging deeper into the fundamental aspects of true groove, coalescing to form music that’s equally designed for the club and beyond.

The LP showcases Minor Sine's versatile and varied distinction as artists with their expansive and engrossing sound never leaving front and centre. "Fata Morgana" is a testament to their strength as storytellers within the genre and an evolution to parts not traditionally heard within their wheelhouse. A seminal journey to the mirage in the distance, ever present and alluring.

Easy Does It - Easing us in with an otherworldly narrative, we kick off with a space laden journey of break like proportions.

Fata Morgana - Transcendental and driven. As per its namesake Fata Morgana invokes a mirage like effect to the senses. Arrival is imminent and the path is oh so sweet. Transcendental and driven.

Isle of Avalon - Atmospheric pads and distant echoing vocals accentuate this reflective trip to isles untravelled.

Mazoe - Staple Minor Sine vibes are alive and well in this euphoric peak time belter.

Raw Melody - After hours sass permeating through a moody deep house fog.

Slam Dancing - Four to the floor seriousness, acid overtones and peppered punchy kicks take us through this urban night time ride.

Start of Messina - Rolling low ends and bright highs combine in this halftime journey of enveloped groove.

Sunday Shade - A deep inviting roller that hits all the right warm and enveloping notes. A big hug on a sunny day.

Vespasian - Acid squelches and arpeggiated distortion is the name of the game with this peak time break infused jam.

Vita Merlini - Out with a bang! Driven and ethereal, melancholy underlays the punchy kicks that culminate to this LP's sublime conclusion.

Premiere | Minor Sine Project - Raw Melody

Anatolian Weapons has always brought intriguing influence to techno. His exploration of rhythm and texture is central to what he does and once more here he takes us on a winding journey through slow down techno and mind altering synths. There is a new age charm to the synths of 'Desert Sun' while the drums chug below. 'The Desert Track II' is a snaking techno sound with creepy sci-fi melodies and twitchy pads off in the distance and 'Ivan's Track' keeps it celestial with more otherworldly melodies and rugged mid tempo drums. Two further unhurried sounds make a great mix of airy melody and metallic drum forms.

Off the back of their sold out album, Daniele Baldelli & DJ Rocca are set to release a limited run 12" featuring remixes of the highest order. 'Complotto Geometrico', 'Space Scribble' & 'A TV Show' are the tracks of choice, remixed by none other than Andy Weatherall, Prins Thomas and Luke Solomon respectively.

The Weatherall remix initiates with a gentle bounce. The synth lines begin to peak and trough whilst back-drafted guitar riffs ring home around the affected vocal sample that oozes in. A subtle cybernetic atmosphere builds around the melodic rhythm which in turn ebbs and flows through out. It’s seeping with that Weatherall magic, making it perfect for any time of night. 
After his previous collaborations with Lindstrom et. al. we we're very excited to see what Prins Thomas would conjure up for this remix. Cosmic energy instantly emanates from the mix, giving a lighter vibe to the melodic depth that the Weatherall mix delivered. It boasts slightly more acidic elements that switch the dancefloor mentality from 'steady groover' to 'floor-mover.'

To finish, Luke Solomon provides a weirdo-disco rendition, full of elastic synth work, a bumping house groove and plenty of raw soul. Probably the more energetic of the three, Solomon proves that he deserves his place as Disco House royalty.
