Hailing from Moscow, Russia, DJ Aleatha was exposed to electronic music at an early age through pioneers such as Juno Reactor, Prodigy, Moby, Chemical Brothers and Crystal Method. After moving to Canada in 2004, her first experiences with raves and electronic music events proved to be the catalyst that kindled this interest in dance music into a full-fledged passion. In 2011 she picked up the decks for the first time and never looked back – shortly after, beginning to play her first shows at local venues. Initially spinning House, Electro and Dark Progressive Psytrance, her sonic pallet has since expanded to spotlight Drum and Bass in the majority of her sets, with a focus on rolling, liquid, and sub-heavy beats. In 2022 she became a member of 403DNB – Calgary’s premiere drum and bass event production company. Look for her serving up her signature blend of moody, drum-heavy riddims at a dance floor, festival, or house party near you!

Born in North York, Toronto, Michelle developed a passion for music at an early age. This passion deepened when she discovered underground dance music, captivated by the vibrant culture, and the art of mixing records. What started as a simple love for music soon became an all-consuming obsession. Michelle began collecting crates of house records before teaching herself to mix on a pair of mismatched turntables back in 2004. After years of perseverance, she had become a prominent figure in the music community, establishing herself as one of the first women to break new ground and pave the way for female talent locally.

Today, Michelle C stands at the forefront of Canada's electronic music scene earning recognition through international labels spanning Russia, London, and Amsterdam. Whether producing original tracks or crafting remixes, her goal remains the same: to channel raw emotion into rhythm and sound, creating an energetic force that connects with the mind, body, and soul. 

Her innovative sound has gained support from global heavyweights like Roger Sanchez, Robert Feelgood, Framewerk, and David Herrero, having featured releases on labels with DJ Dan, Sonny Fodera, Axwell, Groovebox, Erick Morillo, Stefano Noferini, and Huxley, with previous guest appearances on Tulum Radio and Tunnel FM in London.

Michelle C has a diverse and undisputed talent for melding between every type and style of music, showing unparalleled versatility. Although categorized as a House DJ, (deep; jazzy; funky; tribal; progressive; techno) she has been known to shake dance floors with anything from big room trance to driving drum & bass. Michelle's unique ear for sound, along with diverse track selection, and energetic build, has elevated Michelle as a DJ, transforming tranquil dance floors.

Isis Graham
Notoriously resilient and endlessly innovative, Esette (aka Isis Graham) has carved out a lasting legacy in Western Canada’s electronic music scene. With over two decades of experience, her unrelenting work ethic has made her a leading figure both behind the decks and behind the scenes, shaping cultural staples like The Alberta Electronic Music Conference, Girls on Decks, Substation Recordings, and Versions Patio Parties.

Graham’s roots in Calgary’s underground rave scene date back to 1998, where she witnessed the peak of renegade parties. By 1999, she transitioned into DJing, and after local bylaws led to the end of raves, she adapted by bringing her sound to some of Western Canada’s most iconic venues over the past 20 years. Her sets have graced stages at renowned clubs like the Embassy, Cherry Lounge, HIFI Club, Habitat Living Sound, and Open Studios as well as celebrated festivals like Bass Coast, WMC, Decibel, Think! Festival, and Shambhala.

In 2003, Graham co-founded Girls on Decks, a collective that was dedicated to amplifying the visibility of female and non-binary DJs in the dance music scene. While the initiative is no longer active, its impact on Calgary’s music community is undeniable, with its influence continuing to resonate today. 

Since 2007, Graham has built an impressive catalogue as a producer, with releases on Supremus Music, O*rs, Substation Recordings, RF, gaining support from top-tier artists like Maceo Plex, Fred Everything, Seth Troxler, and Jamie Jones. From 2013 to 2018, she served as A&R for the Calgary-based Substation Recordings, further nurturing local talent. She also co-founded Studio Social, Calgary’s first producer-focused listening event series, which fostered collaboration and community among music creators.

In 2016, Graham co-launched the Alberta Electronic Music Conference, a boutique gathering of electronic music masterminds that ran annually at Calgary’s National Music Centre until 2019. The conference featured 60+ panels, workshops, and mentorship opportunities for emerging artists. Recognized for her entrepreneurial spirit, she received Avenue Magazine’s "Top 40 Under 40" award in 2019. Additionally, her weekly summer residency "Versions" at Modern Love (formerly Broken City) has become a key event for community building, nurturing emerging talent and fostering Calgary’s house
music scene, celebrating its 11th season in 2024.

Esette’s passion for launching boundary-breaking initiatives extends to her identity as a performer. Ever-evolving and always effervescent, her multifaceted approach and raw passion shine through her work—continuing to inspire and energize those fortunate enough to experience her sound.

Owen Marmorek is a Vancouver-based sound technician, DJ, engineer/producer, lighting/video designer, promoter and Deadhead.

Since 2012, he has played in BC’s underground rave and Burning Man scenes. Owen plays a variety of sounds, with an emphasis on jazzy deep house, desert tech, and classic edits.
