Known for his sleek selections of deep, dirty, deadly, electro and house beats with an occasional side of bangin' dubstep to get the crowds on their feet. 

With a full array of original electronic music productions and a sharpened ear for seamless mixing, Jake has an ability to sneak up and surprise any size crowds into dancing frenzies. You’ll be amazed after witnessing Ninjake’s powers being harnessed to hypnotize the masses into grooving, grinning and gridning all night long.

With an extensive background spanning nearly twenty years involved in writing, teaching, playing, performing and recording all types of music, this audio assassin has learned nearly every trick in the music books.

With the help of many different mentors and influences — and just generally amazing International musicians — Ninjake always knows what to do to get even the toughest critic’s head nodding and feet tapping at a furious pace.

As a white belt, young Ninjake began playing guitars, drums, keyboards, brass and a host of other instruments (as well as vocals) which have become second nature since after being involved in several demanding bands.

As he trained more and more vigorously – progressing through the ranks quickly towards the coveted black belt of sound – his Sensei knew he was ready for the next deadly challenge.

After a relentless barrage of daunting and rigorous tasks for the budding ninja Producer/DJ, things finally started to come together. 

Despite all booby-traps, pitfalls and near-death experiences — Like a phoenix rising from the ashes — a hero re-emerged… and Ninjakademy was forged for your listening pleasure.

Now residing in Vancouver, B.C. (Although this ninja is nomadic and elusive) from time to time you will catch Jake playing at a host of venues including: nightclubs, special events, outdoor music festivals, private parties, boat cruises, lounges, weddings, pubs, pool halls and a whole host of other strange places you wouldn’t expect to find a seriously killer DJ/Producer.

Third Colony as musical project and label is born with the meeting between Yan (living in Montreal, Canada) & Julien (from Toulouse, France) with the mutual goal to create electronic music how we think it should be: deep, emotional, inspiring, beyond genre-boundaries. 

We created Third Colony Music with a "DIY" mood, sharing our skills to stay as much independent as possible. We're doing the music, sound design, artworks, mastering, managing distribution, communication, video clips, etc...
The spirit and philosophy of the project are clear, it’s about passion, dedication and expressing ideas and concepts of possible scenarios for a near and far future. 

It’s about evoking emotions we all share, traumas, bliss, fights, losses, hopes with and overall optimistic tone somehow. We also feel that Third Colony is a safe haven for people to connect, express ideas freely and feel “home”. 
As we all are also heavily inspired by art, movies, comics, videogames, the visual aspect of TCM is as important as the sound to underline our philosophy.

As a Label, TCM is a shelter for artists we love and we've already released musical journeys from Opsen, Aethek, Kocky, Arcine...
