Third Force (Richard Lander) is a Melbourne-born DJ and producer whose career began in 2000, quickly earning a reputation for high-energy sets that guide dancefloors through melodic, progressive, and euphoric states. Known for his ability to read a room and build a journey from the ground up, he’s performed at many of Melbourne’s most iconic venues — including Seven, Cloud Nine, BaroqHouse, Love Machine, Circus Bar, The Saint, CQ, Lounge, and The Secret Garden Bar.

A long-time favourite for promoters seeking a reliable vibe-setter, Third Force has shared lineups with some of Australia’s most influential artists: Dom Dolla, TV Rock, Dirty South, John Course, Grant Smillie, Hook n Sling, Chardy, Tigerlily, the Stafford Brothers, and more. His sets have also been featured regularly on Kiss FM Australia, one of the country’s premier underground electronic stations.

Beyond the decks, Third Force is a dedicated producer with over two decades crafting original music and collaborating with artists across genres. After 14 years refining his sound, he is now releasing his anticipated debut album, The Hero’s Journey — a project that blends uplifting EDM, cinematic drops, and genre-bending melodic storytelling. His mission is simple: create music that moves bodies, expands minds, and elevates consciousness.

Currently based in Perth, Third Force continues to evolve his sound while building a catalogue aimed at clubs, festivals, and labels seeking forward-thinking melodic & progressive electronic music.
