Underground Audio is a label that’s really etched its way into the collective conscience of clued-in clobbers over the past year, a fact that’s without doubt attributable to their penchant for high class house music. And so it is that their latest arrives from new signing Habischman, who delivers with the sort of aplomb we’d expect from label and artist on the stunning Emerging EP. And as introductions go, this one takes some beating.. 

The EP leads with Defences, a sumptuous tech-house track that’s made all the stunning thanks to the dizzying vocal prowess of Elida. The whimsical beats are a potent foil in their own right, but it’s the lyrics that help lift this one to higher spheres - giving it a tangible sense of human emotion in the process. 

Fans of vocal-less melodies are sure to be just as enthralled by the dub mix, while there’s also a remix from German producer Sascha Braemer on the EP. Braemer’s remix is typical of his work in that it’s baseline led and produced with an almost electro sheen. While it jettisons the original’s delicate mannerisms, it instead points it straight in the direction of the peak time dance floor; the end result being a track that’s sure to go down a treat wherever it’s fully allowed to spread its wings. 

Seeing us out the gate soon after is the ‘Offences’, a Habischman original that neatly introduces us to the more considered side of his output. Dexterous and full of nimble sounds a plenty, it moves at a gentle but intriguing pace. Full of guile, suspense and unpredictability, it’s a fitting end to an EP that brings the listener on a proverbial roller coaster of emotions.

Since the debut 12" in 1993, ten artist albums for F Communications and more recently Turbo Recordings, dozens of 12" singles on some of the world's hottest labels, and close to a hundred remixes for artists as diverse as Chromeo, Kid Cudi, Robyn, and Lydia Lunch, followed by producing albums for the bands Sister Flo, Villa Nah and NightSatan, and naturally the writing and production work on both Tiga - albums, all qualify as self-explanatory efforts of a passionate music aficionado.

Here, we premiere Jori's version of Kenny Glasgow's "Imagine A World", which also features the dreamy and alluring vocals of Shanira G. On this version, Jori goes energetic, with spritely drums and widescreen, new wave styled synths stretching in all directions. It’s a classy club cut that will take ‘floors to the next level, for sure.

Petar Dundov crafts music that transports listeners to other realms, fusing the functionality of techno with the mysticism of ambient. 

His latest full-length on the label ‘At The Turn Of Equilibrium’ came out last month featuring 10-minute spidery groove ‘The Lattice’ which is being released as a single later this month backed with a remix from Frank Wiedemann. 

The German producer, also known as one half of Âme and co-founder of Innervisions, holds a similar reputation for making soaring house and techno with a spooky edge. He chops up the winding original and repackages it into a tighter framework with spacey synth stabs and a more prominent kick.

Hailing from Belgium, Solemn Eye's musical realm is focused on creating a state of mind where time and space are overruled by the emotional value of sound.

Spinning on the decks since the age of 16, he's had the opportunity to perform at well-known venues around Belgium. Premiere: Einmusik - Genus

Sincopat is a label set up in 2010 by Spanish producer AFFKT and his friend Alberto Sola. Known for its melodic sound, the label has an open minded approach to House music.  Next up is another star studded affair with Sincopat regulars Darlyn Vlys and HearThuG collaborating on an original track called "Agore." 

Darlyn Vlys is a French producer now living in Spain, who boasts prestigious gigs at venues such as Tresor in Berlin, plus events like the Sonar festival held in Barcelona. Having had tracks charted by the likes of Loco Dice, Dubfire, Monika Kruse and Matthias Tanzmann he is a jet setting DJ who regularly plays overseas gigs in far flung places like Brazil. 

Jihed Monser aka HearThuG is a Tunisian producer and DJ who made contact with Darlyn Vlys through the Sincopat label after Darlyn remixed one of his tracks. With HearThuG tracks already charting the top 20 of the Beatport top 100 selling tracks, and his music picking up support from the likes of Maceo Plex, Steve Bug, Joris Voorn and Sasha, the pair decided to collaborate on this release. 

The release also features our Debut Transmission Today a remix from Eric Volta, which is the perfect intro tool with its synth lead, melodic intro and faded in kick drum. When the track drops and the percussion takes hold, it's both warm an understated with a medley of textures and deep atmospherics. Adding his own melody parts, he also chops up the originals vocal into phrases to put his own stamp on this stunning rework. Deeper than any of the other versions Eric’s remix has dream like qualities but enough energy to make sure it still works on the dancefloor.
