@otikmusic: "This was probably my favourite ever mix to record. I really wanted it to sound like a summer peak-time mix but also a journey that you could get lost in with headphones, and of course, wanted it to flow as smoothly as possible. I included music mostly from artists I’m really excited about or inspired by, a bunch of forthcoming stuff on my label and a handful of new discoveries, but I’m very happy with how the mix flows and I hope it connects with some people. This Crack Mix comes courtesy of London-based DJ and producer Alexis. With 60 minutes of songs crafted with a transformative journey in mind, it’s built for magical evening hours that seem set apart from real life. With swelling sounds and an atmospheric build, Alexis’ mixing prowess is exemplified in this sonic melting pot.

In her own words, Alexis says: “This mix is themed around the night, my favourite time. I imagined playing this mix deep into the early hours and building up to a peak time slot.”

Composed by Tilman Robinson, the work epitomises Kieran's unique genre-blend of contemporary classical, experimental electronica, and adventurous club music. Recorded in the USA by the legendary Todd Reynolds in 2019, this release has been years in the making. To celebrate, Naarm/Berlin sound artist and DJ Kate Miller provides a perfectly complementary remix specially for the release.

Influential Istanbul house and techno collective Sublime Porte reunite for the first time in many years with a special dedication to one of their core members Okan Coban who tragically left us in 2003.

One tune, one emotional epitaph for one of Turkey’s most enduring crews, ‘Cascade’ is deep, dubby and laced in Detroitian drama. Nodding to the foundations set by the likes of UR, there’s a twinkle, star-lit sheen to the top layer but a powerful drive to the groove beneath. Ageless and suitable for any chapter of the night, it’s a fitting send off to a dear friend.

It also comes complete with two versions from Berlin-based Kanzleramt bossman Heiko Laux. The first remix is primed for more peaktime activities. Relentless, soaked in big dub washes and funk-minded modulation on the main lead, it’s Heiko doing what Heiko does best. Looking for something a little darker and stripped back to the bare essentials? Look no further than the dub mix.
