Thirty Three Connection are a piano driven indie-rock collective from Edinburgh. The band when established in 2012 were the duo of Andrew Brannen - Lead Vocals/Drums and Stephen Gillon - Vocals/Piano/Synth. Described as, "...classic power pop driven by wonderful piano instead of the more usual guitar, and which puts me in mind of 'Tears For Fears' amongst other things.' - Scots Whay Hae! and 'The pair have certainly made a superb first impression and their talents deserve to be exposed to a wider audience.' - TLMSP
With moderate success as the two-piece the band took time out of gigging in 2015 and focused on writing. In May 2016 they went into the studio to record their debut EP with Mark Morrow at The Depot Studios. With the help of Sinclair Fraser (Guitar) and Ivan Rea (Violin) they recorded the 4 track EP to be released on October 2016 and their new single IN THE RAIN released September 1st with a rework from Glaswegian producer TURTLE. Their new single was debuted by Vic Galloway on BBC Radio Scotland (22/8/16) alongside Mogwai, Boxed In and Isle.
