Our brand new release starts with a DJ and producer from the resident roster. STEAL TAPES who provides us with two original mixes in his fresh and danceable style. The ending part is a remix entrusted to FERRARI, rising star of Milanese clubbing

This is Not assigns the last ep of the year to one of the most fascinating characters of the Milanese scene. Robotalco. Always in the underground, he sporadically gives us masterpieces of IHM (Intelligent House Music). An hypnotic voice with warm drums accompanied by dreamy melodies characterise the ep's main track, while the remix assigned to the 'mind behind the project' Marco Dassi gives it that danceable touch in a Lo-Fi key.

Foggy atmospheres, dark vibrant bass tones that smell like waiting outside a club in a queue, alternate with concussive upbeat rhythms forming a kind of “Electro Ska” from a “thousand and one nights”. These are the two original tracks penned by homegrown talent Ron Brown. Remix assigned to residents we.amps, who with their dancing acid touch close an amazing ep.

As regard the remix, this time we have a milestone of international house. The 'Chi' vision of DJ Jes from Chicago gives us a remix with his typical hypnotic style by respecting the original track.

In this second MADCAST, @shkedul brings all the 'space opera on wax' we need as the hot season gears up. Nostalgia and future, press and release. A serpentine, ambient segment leads to the club door, and yes - you can hear the bounce.

With recent outings on Picnic Records, and features from scene staples like JUAAN and Alex Neri on his own NORD LTD label, the Italian selector keeps hatching hypnotic melodies.

He says it's his first mix of this kind in 15 years of music. Some things just wait for the right time. We're glad to be here for it.

Today marks one year since the last (ever?) edition of @waha-festival, where I had the opportunity to play the lovely Aural stage. Even though the rain came just when the first record started playing, it turned out to be one of my favourite moments selecting music, surrounded by friends all huddled together listening to the sound of pouring rain and beautiful songs. Fortunately the whole thing was recorded so I'm glad to have a token from that happy time and to be able to share it with anyone who cares to listen.

This is not Label launches its sixth EP  'Jazz' apposizione’ created by Riccardo Zaffaroni, historic resident dj of the This is not project.
The EP consists of the tracks 'Jazz'apposizione', 'Le subconciente' and 'Mk'it hot', which recount Riccardo's path of artistic and musical growth and listening to which it is possible to undertake a metaphysical journey lulled between reality and imagination.

'Jazz’apposizione', track from which the name of the entire EP, is characterized by a constant rhythm, punctuated by hypnotic basses and by the presence of numerous Jazz sounds that, accompanied by intense vocals, minimal elements and acid nuances, transmit to those who listen to magical and otherworldly sensations.

Riccardo Zaffaroni - Le subconciente
'Le subconciente', the second track of the EP, is a track with a fast and pressing rhythm, characterized by the presence of powerful basses, numerous dub and deep vocal sounds, which lead the listener to embark on a unique introspective journey.

'Mk'it hot', the third and final track of the EP, is characterized by its deep and dark electronic melodies that, alternating with rhythmic beats, liquid sounds and intense vocal sounds, allow anyone who listens to them to travel beyond the borders of their own imagination.
