After 9 solid years of releasing the finest, deepest, dopest, most dubbed-out and trippy underground DJ mixes from around the globe... we finally hit the BIG 200 milestone and we are doing it BIG in style, quality AND quantity - all at the same time. Avenue Red will deliver 10 mixes in rapid succession from 10 different selectors, some of which are returning and some delivering their long-awaited debut.

First up, we welcome the return of the seasoned Berlin deep house Admiral known as Estimulo. Dishing his second contribution to the series, this is a captivating, soul-warming, moving, grooving extended mix of totally obscure, forgotten or at least bloody well hidden four-to-the-floor gemstones.

"It's a real exception for me to do a mix of a duration of more than let's say 90 mins for a podcast, but the cause deserves it. I tried to jam-pack this mix with as many of my slightly more unknown 'deep techy house' secret weapons as possible and when alec came back saying that he hardly knows anything in the mix then I knew that I succeeded. This is Not assigns the last ep of the year to one of the most fascinating characters of the Milanese scene. Robotalco. Always in the underground, he sporadically gives us masterpieces of IHM (Intelligent House Music). An hypnotic voice with warm drums accompanied by dreamy melodies characterise the ep's main track, while the remix assigned to the 'mind behind the project' Marco Dassi gives it that danceable touch in a Lo-Fi key.

As regard the remix, this time we have a milestone of international house. The 'Chi' vision of DJ Jes from Chicago gives us a remix with his typical hypnotic style by respecting the original track.

The 16th part of our podcast puzzle comes from Que Sakamoto. 

The nomadic Japanese DJ and producer and self proclaimed "party ninja" serves up 3 hours of peak-time breaks, trance, tech house and techno, recorded live in March 2025 at the Rio. There is a certain quality that courses through his DJ sets that is hard to pin down; psychedelic? Definitely. Playful? Of course. 

It's fair to say that a lot of the music Que plays you won't have heard before and most likely won't hear again. He's always got his own unreleased bombs up his sleeve, plus plenty of Japanese rarities that just hit each time. Dive in to the world of Que Sakamoto.

After the response from her more downtempo track for our Free Download series we thought it only right to follow up with Xiaolin for a mix for our InSessions series. The Hong Kong native is well-versed in all manner of electronic music spheres, but her penchant lies at the rawer, bleepy end of house music and minimal. As well as these serious club sounds, Xiaolin is also a fine purveyor of more traditional sounds and is a regular face on the Canto Pop scene. 

Recorded live at Mihn Club in Hong Kong, Xiaolin takes control of the atmospheric nightspot from the very beginning of this episode of our mix series. Stripping the action back to the fundamental elements, she injects power moves after power moves into the dancefloor as if priming for tracks that are yet to be introduced. Her unhurried, methodical touch speaks volumes as the next groove and bassline comes thudding into view. While the poppier side of her sound is more carefree, Xiaolin’s mix for our podcast series offers freedom of mind as well as of body.

Strap in for a ride through ambient techno, progressive house, breaks, and trance, all glued together with Secretsundaze's signature timeless feel.

We’re excited to welcome Jannah to the mix series, a Utrecht-based DJ and dedicated vinyl enthusiast, whose love for digging runs just as deep as ours. She first came onto our radar last year when one of our label co-founders, Tywi, shared a lineup with her in the Netherlands where her set left a real impression.

In December she joined us for our club night at Nachbar, Amsterdam, and we’ve been (politely) pestering her for a mix ever since, hehe! We're very happy to share this deep, headsy hour long mix of 90s-inflected tech house, mixed by a pro. Raw, hypnotic and refined. Enjoy!

The Sizeable Mix Vol. 48: Luk (Espacio-Tiempo)

This is a recording of Alfonsvs 3h slot at the Wintergarten floor of Sisyphos on a very warm summer evening, right after a great set by Hisham Zahran and just before Adriana Ruas destroyed the floor.  
The sun was shining through the windows and the dancefloor was filling up nicely during the first half of the set. On the second half of the set, the dancefloor was packed with beautiful dancers in this cosy room, where the Dj plays between two sets of stairs with people dancing both in front of the booth but also in the balcony above and behind the booth and on the stairs going up to the balcony, giving it a real 360º feel. 
The sound was warm, and the people were screaming during bigger breaks and even when the needle skipped the record at one time. CRAZY!!!
