Cole Baby re-enters orbit with Dance Hoo Hah, an electro-tinged transmission featuring two original tracks and remixes from Bed of Roses style father Break Mode and United Color of Rhythm labelhead Fernanda Arrau. “Dance” is both the name of the first track and a won’t-take-no-for-an-answer command as we set off on our journey, armed with a percussive groove that emerges from the fog behind. The path ahead lights up with the titular “Hoo Hah,” disco drums and acid lines guiding the way until Break Mode reaches up from the netherworld with a remix of “Dance” that feels like a subterranean fever dream. Arrau provides the final push back into the stratosphere straight to the Bed of Roses star system with a high tempo “Hoo Hah” remix that rings triumphant and lights up the sky.

For its second Various Artist release, "Radiant Mist", Evolove Music brings around a whirlwind of evolutive, sensual and glitchy techno to your ears. It is in this spirit that dltpn, producer and DJ from Paris, co-founder of Evolove Music, produced this track. 

Passionate about sound, dltpn was educated with rock and hip hop during his teenage years right before discovering the European electronic music scene. With his background in music practice, production naturally came to him. After posting some tracks on his own, he released his first signed track on Void Records about a year ago. Shortly after, he co-founded Evolove Music with some other music producers and DJs in order to expand their vision on electronic music. Love Genesis, their first Various Artists EP dropped out last summer.

After several releases in the past years, switching between styles such as jungle, house, UKG, breaks or techno, dltpn now seems to free himself from musical genres to offer his own appreciation of techno. Comes ”Pinot Noir And Candles”, a driving and bouncy track with sensual vocals, bright evolving pads and a catchy bassline that will set the mood in a smokey and vibrant room at 5AM.

St Christopher, the patron saint of the traveller. The tale goes that a man used to carry people across a river. One day a child asked to be taken across. Being someone used to carrying people across the river, Christopher was not phased as he put the young boy on his back but as he crossed the river the child grew heavier and heavier.
In a similar way Zorla by Christophe starts off unassuming and deep, much like the waters of the unnamed river of the legend of St Christopher. As the track goes on it gets heavier with acid licks building and building into a heavy acid stomper. But unlike the journey of Saint Christopher, this track isnt too heavy to carry, so we guess that is where the analogy ends.
This on the 6th release from Leeds based DJ Trio Producers/Podcasters all round good eggs Clandestino Records, sees a deep groove which would suit dark rooms and big slick clubs with its hefty reverb and tight percussion which sounds more Chicago than Yorkshire. We suggest you get on this one right away.
