Jesssica Bellomo Ft. Midi - Atraves

Eclectic music producer from Saint Petersburg NONAME delivers his first solo LP. He reimagines sounds of his youth spent raving in cult clubs Tunnel and Red Club giving it fresh twist.

In his EP Phoenix he returns to his roots: Heyday electro sound of early 00’s is resurrected in modern way. Conceptually it is a story of imaginary mechanic Phoenix bird living in imaginary world. Synthetic ecstatic dreams of primitive man who just started to make music.

First track «Phoenix» is tribalistics trancy affair with strange flutter melody that tracks down your unconscious instincts and leads to ecstatic heavens. 

«Deja Vu» is a pitched down breakbeat track with EBM flavor that influenced by something unheard and familiar at the same time.

«Ghosting» is a slowed down paranoid vision of man who suddenly gets ignored by his loved on.

«Bedouin» (afghanistan) track sounds like last afterparty track on caveman gathering where everybody is chilling after nice hunt and remembers the experience. 

«Evil Live» is mysterious slow roller that builds and builds its melody that reminiscent unheard version of Prodigy «Posion» track.

Put on this record (this will allow the flavors to really come together). Heat up a dry frying pan as hot as these tracks, sprinkle the joy and love, and toast until fragrant. Take it out into a bowl, then stir in the relief and euphoria. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Use this Route 8 blend to spice up the dance floor. 💃

Ring Ring Ring! The dawn of a fresh day brings a new release near. Squid Recordings inks its way into existence with a heavy foot on rave Americana.

With releases on Rush Hour, Velocity and his own Nylon Recordings, James ‘Nylon’ Thomas sees his Nylosphere project reborn, remastered and retouched (over two decades later) for the modern world.

The two widely varying title tracks, backed with equally contrasting mixes, are a microcosm of what late 90s, American-made dance music embodied. That is, a web of genre hopping maximalism, analog driven punchiness and a beautiful uncertainty to a post millennia world.
