'Neu', 'Atlas' and 'Asphalte' are sweaty, raw, all dressed up in freaky vocals and oblique melancholy. The kind of late night basement music you'd wish to hear more often and basically, Marseille captured in a digital format! daWad&Mokic also have worked on a live act and are ready to travel Europe with it, at least when Mokic is not showing his muscles at the swimming pool. 

To back those three gems up, we're happy to welcome Sid Le Rock (aka Pan/Tone) on board with an anthemic version of Atlas. Faster, meaner and drenched in cosmic arpeggios this beast of a remix is guaranteed to shake dancefloors around the world all summer.

A synth-infused father-son collaboration, fast-rising talent Kincaid has teamed up with his dad Neil Arthur, a member of the respected British synth-pop act Blancmange, for a fresh release on Moscoman's Disco Halal imprint, titled 'Big Fat Head'.

The forthcoming release sees Moscoman teaming up with friend and collaborator Trikk as Nucat for their first official remix under the new joint moniker. Wrapped in the label's favored air of eastern mysticism, this chugging and vocoder-driven track is not to be missed.

'Big Fat Head' is set for release on March 22 via Disco Halal.

Copenhagen trio WhoMadeWho are back with a new EP, 'Obstacle', on Chaim and Jenia Tarsol's label Blue Shadow. The group's 2020 kick off comes with two original tracks, 'Balt' and 'Obstacle', plus two remixes from the label bosses and Italian duo Marvin & Guy for the EP's title track. The latter captivates due the haunting and heartwarming vocals that are combined with dreamy pads and catchy chords that pack up an overall unbeatable package from the trio consisting of Jeppe Kjellberg, Tomas Hoffding and Tomas Barfod. 'Obstacle'n overcomes the difficulty of a track being easy to grasp yet challenging in its arrangement and aforegoing but still giving the listener a pause to breathe deeply.

‘Carpe Noctem’, the first official single from the upcoming debut record ‘Moments In Ruin’ by Brisbane based post-punk band Ancient Channels, is an anthemic explosion of ideas and sounds. Influenced by the mechanistic grooves of Juju era Siouxsie & The Banshees, synth heavy sci-fi soundtracks and the squalling guitars of modern noise rock, ‘Carpe Noctem’ is a collage of sound: a smeared palette of guitars betwixt noise rock past, present and beyond underpinned by a power shuffle and a volley of synth and bass.

This potent combination provides a solid structural framework that accompanies the loose and meandering vocal lines that interlace throughout the song. ‘Carpe Noctem’ is a tribute to the night and a lyrical celebration of the ambient darkness in our lives. A time when our hopes, wants and deepest fantasies coalesce in our subconscious and dance about in our dreams.
