Smoke filters through the rickety wooden splints barely supporting the once prominent dance floor. Although now barren, the specters of revelers and performers are almost tangible. Your dance partner from a former life breathes upon your neck. The initial euphoria twists to dread as you find the face looming upon you is lathered in grotesque white paint. A spherical rubber nose presses upon your back. It feels good and you don’t know why.

Straight outta Italy comes a powerful dose of house music presented by long-time veteran Manuel De La Mare and his Italian counterpart K.A.M.A. 'Lose Control' features heavy house rhythms with techno inspired sound design, blended together in perfect harmony, including a raucous remix from Luca Secco & Craftkind as well as deeper, yet equally powerful mix from Tom Jay. 'Lose Control' is a unique mix of dark tech atmospheres with a surprisingly upbeat groove, while the second track 'Turn Off The Light' is pure bass line goodness, perfect for those dark club settings. Luca Secco & Craftkind amp up the volume with their screeching synths countered by a refreshingly euphoric breakdown. Taking a slightly different approach, Tom Jay's remix of 'Turn Off The Light' brings a fun 90's inspired sound played along to pounding jackin' house drums.

Following on from their 2017 Sola Trigger Kick EP, German talent Raumakustik return with their signature sound on Solardo’s label for a hefty two-track package in the form of the Good Times EP. 

Lead EP track Good Times features a captivating vocal sample that chops into a rumbling bassline amongst cluttering percussion made for the dancefloor. Meanwhile, In Up Me draws on heavy sub textures before rolling into a vivacious synth hook. With both tracks making for peak-time weapons, the Good Times EP makes Raumakustik’s return to Sola very much worth the wait.

After a prolific rise with Beatport no.1 Dem A Pree in 2016, Sebastian and Volker better known as Raumakustik have been ruling the tech house game with intricate originals.
