A flavourful 3 Track EP crafted by Hypside & Teknicoz featuring Lupita.

Hypside:
Created in Brusque, a small city in Santa Catarina, Brazil, Luiz Cristofer Almeida launched his project titled "Hypside" in 2016 meaning: "The different side of seeing things". In very little time he became known for his unique tracks filled with personality, exotic lines of percussion and heavy bass.

Having a very flexible style that goes from Techno to House, it's difficult to choose a single musical style for Hypside. In this new era of electronic music, Hypside stands out for it's musical taste in everything that is good, danceable and most important, fun.

Teknicoz:
Teknicoz started their musical career in 2017. The duo (Alan Canto & Jesse Martinez) formed to produce tech funk house in Chicago, IL, taking production to the next level using funky vocals paired with 808 bass and crazy synths.Drawing various influences from Afrojack, Sidney Samson, Bruno Furlan, Shiba San, Ardalan & Chris Lake.

After producing music for only 6 months they managed to gain support from various artists such as Danny Kolk, Holt88, Gettoblaster, Luke Andy, Zachary Lego, and even the father of Dirtybird Records, Claude Von Stroke himself signing their single "The Pipe" onto Dirtybird.

We present to you The Lost Cat-alogs of Box Of Cats.

It was an icy-cold winter in 2016. Only Silence reigned. Only the wind could be heard. Until 6 individuals came together to create the first flame that was Box Of Cats. It took quite some time for the masses to gather by this flame, so some warmth went unfelt.  It was this warmth that created the burning desire that soon after evolved into our record label as we know it today, Box Of Cats..

Although some Day 1's are already onto these tracks we felt like it was necessary to showcase these tracks again for the fans that haven't gone through our entire CATalogs. We feel it was these tracks that laid the groundwork for everything we are about today.

You may have heard 'Welcome To The Basement' championed by Born Dirty as his 'secret weapon' (Sorry Mika) or you may have heard Get Ruff in any chosen Kyle Watson set but our job here today is to bring these tracks back to the forefront with the energy and focus they deserved all that time ago.

Those interpretations were crafted in countless hours in the very own intimate playgrounds of all these great talents. Father, label owner, ghost producer for the stars, beer enthusiast and Dutch Oven expert. This guy has it all. This guy is a weapon. This guy is Jeff Doubleu.

Jeff's music has been in our sets for over a decade. From his big collaborations with Hijack to his latest remix for Tchami and Malaa which blended Dutch House into the tech-house scene. I think if you asked him to mix dirt and milk together he could make it taste good. Not only this but being one of the founding fathers and still A&R manager at the label, he has his ear to the pulse and this new EP showcases exactly that.

The A-side 'Tell Me' is a deep brooding chugger with just enough snare fills to please any Chicago chin stroker. On the flip we see the Jeff collaborating with mystery producer Kimba with a boompty dutch cross over. We can smell the word Fidget being thrown around for this one. Lastly, we have 'The Thrill' which turns it up the heat to round out the EP with something for everyone. 

No matter how you pronounce it, whether its Jeff Double U, Jeff De Blau, Jeff Da Blue, nothing gets past the guys skills to produce chunky ass house music.

The Kino Village team is honored to announce the duo of @BassOdyssey’s debut on the label with their pumping new EP “OWF”. The first song off the EP, which is under the same name, is a mixture of dark pumping bass and catchy vocals that will keep you on the dance floor til the late night as the Kino sound always does. 

The second track off of Bass Odyssey's debut on Kino Village is another pumping late night, epic saga of a track with buzzing low-end and addictive synths that will keep the entire party glued to the speakers. 

The last song off of the EP is a mean DnB remix of “OWF." This track gives it entirely new spin as it takes this dark house track deep into the Drum & Bass atmosphere.
