I am buzzing to share this second edition of the “Trippy Associates” collaboration series. These tracks are the product of collabs with two of my favorite people: Justin Martin (Belter) & NIMA G (Melter). Normally I would gush about the EP’s tracks but it feels awkward here. I’ll just say that road testing these has been very very rewarding. Bring on the summer festivals!

Is it a bird, is it a plane, is it a BAKED BEAN?? NO. It’s the sweaty scalp of a man we call GAWP!

Hailing from the UK, the mad-man GAWP has cooked up a trio of the finest open canned audio for your pleasure. Interweaving the nuances of Tech, Bass and who knows what style of house, this EP has it all. The guy really can do anything.

The lead track 'Brassic' is a driving bass heavy cut with enough resonance to call for a small flock of birds. The FX in this record show the patience GAWP has for crafting the perfect mix. A strong 'Work' vocal finds itself placed thoughout the track while creepy percussions move in and out of time. Perfectly we might add.

The B-sides 'Hokus' and 'Redlight' showcase GAWP’s capabilities of creating tracks fit for any dancefloor. 'Hokus' is a dark techno cut while 'Redlight' has a touch more glitchy chunk to it.

After being friends with this frying crouchman for 10+ years, we are super chuffed to have him Squatting! on our label ;)

Height doesn't come into play when you make BIG techno. 

We have been working with @FOOLiEmusic for such a long time. Between compilations, dj shows, seductive messages over social media. We love the guy. He has a twist on House and Techno that is very unique to him. No-one sounds like FOOLiE and thats a great thing!

We are very pleased to bring his first solo release with BOC with none other than @miss_dre . 'I Said' is a thumpy techno record with a hypnotic perc rhythm, while the flip 'Refresh' is a dark groover. FOOLiE always seems to find the most unique grooves and be able to ride them out.

With or without a glitter mask the guy is amazing and we are really excited to see the future of this artist!

FOOLiE - Refresh

Slothacid release #6 features an outstanding EP from fast rising duo, Niles Shepard. Fusing elements of acid house with wonky stabs, the Minneapolis pair open up their offering with "Follow Me" featuring delicious vocals by MISS DRE...a left field house track that is guaranteed to stay in your ear.

"Let It Go", signed after a Neon Owl demo listening party, is a darker take on the new age acid theme. A pulsating house number that is guaranteed to send heads spinning.
