The initial track on “Restart” features Daym: a good friend of mine in Seattle. This song encompasses the idea of growing and becoming the best person you can possibly be, taking things one step at a time. This is the first time I’ve experimented with tempo-change in one of my songs; I hope to continue experimenting with changes in tempo in future songs. Daym assisted tremendously with this track, from lyrics to song structure, and I am honored to have this as the first track on the album.
