My name is Vincent Newsom and I'm 26 years old. I've been writing music since I started playing guitar at age 14, and recording it since the age of 15. I strive to create experimental folk music that reaches people on an emotional level. I wrote a concept album between the years 2010 and 2013 titled "Long Time No See" and am still in the process of recording it with a sound engineer named Russell McKamey. Musically the album has a folk driven minimal experimental feel to it, and was originally composed to hold together as a single song, but was decided against in the recording process. Lyrically the album is an encapsulation of the emotional roller coaster of a relationship. From the true romance to the forced romance. Falling in and out of love and everything in between. It is a summation of my personal journey over a three year period.
