blklght is an idea. A project led by Varun Venugopalan, a US born Indian American, with the aim of pushing what it means to be a DJ /Producer in today’s world. Known for his incredible skills both in the studio and on stage, this genre-blending artist delivers high-octane performances that will leave you in awe.

blklght has produced remixes for some of the biggest artists in the world including Paul Oakenfold, Luis Fonsi, Aloe Blacc and Azealia Banks.  In addition to touring with Paul Oakenfold, he has performed alongside Tiesto, Zedd, Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Deorro, W&W, Audien, and Nicky Romero, among many others.
