-How long have you been creating music?
Corbin: Started producing at 16 years old on Garage Band and then Maschine, transferred to Ableton about a year ago, so 14 years now
Rein: I started playing guitar at 6 and began composing original music around 8 or 9 years old. I began producing on Logic at 13 and carried that passion all the way to the ICON Collective with me. It’s been a 20 year long journey now. 


-What do you use to make your tracks?
Corbin: Ableton Live 11

-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?
Corbin: Went to my first Dirtybird BBQ in Miami 2016, been a fan ever since!
Rein: My buddy Nate (Leffingwell) turned me on to dirtybird around the year 2020

-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?
Corbin:That's tough, I’d say Claude VonStroke, Dipzy, or Steve Darko
Rein: I have a huge appreciation for Steve Darko’s sound and think we could make some real weird stuff together

-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?
Corbin: Jurassic Park
Rein: Man sits in front of computer and confronts self doubt

-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
Corbin: Hands down, Earth Wind & Fire Bonnaroo 2015
Rein: I got to see Rush with my father as a kid and that was incredible 

-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?
Corbin: Whenever/wherever they were taste-testing the first Pop Tarts, big Poptart guy
Rein: I would go back to meet my grandfather and spend more time with him. I took his birth name, Rein, and have always felt a connection to him although we only met a few times. 


-What species of bird best describes you and why?
Corbin: Chicken, funky fellow that stays head bobbin’
Rein: A Phoenix. Rebirth is a huge theme in my life as someone in recovery. I have one tattooed on my chest. 

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?
Corbin: Freedom to be who you are in a judgment-free environment, pushing the limits beyond the norm. 
Rein: Community! Togetherness. Being cool with how weird I am and everyone else appreciating that too.

-How long have you been creating music?

I've been creating music for 8 years now. I started creating songs in 2014 and releasing songs like Hype bass only in 2018.

 

-What do you use to make your tracks?

I use ableton and push 2, I really like to create my own tones in sylenth 1 or serum.

 

-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?

I discovered Dirtybird around 2007 surfing the internet looking for new music when I came across the amazing Claude Vonstroke tracks.

 

-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?

Walker & Royce

 

-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?

Big Fish: Directed by Tim Burton

 

-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?

Kaballah summer 2017 on the island of Florianópolis where there was a Dirtybird stage and I could see djs like Kyle Watson, Justin Martin, Bruno Furlan, DJ Glen and Ciszak.

 

-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?

I would go back to the past in the last hug I gave to the people I love and who are no longer present in life!

 

-What species of bird best describes you and why?

I would describe myself as a canary because it is small and likes to sing and spread its song wherever it goes.

 

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?

Dirtybird to me is family because you can feel the love and respect the fans have It's incredible to see how Dirtybird's great work positively affects people's lives by creating moments and connections that mark lives.

The label's songs marked an era in several moments of my life.

I met several people from the fan and artist community who marked my evolution as a producer and as a person.
