Danish Glitch-Pop duo between mermaids and me, comprising Stine Drejer and Andreas Pilgaard, creates a sound of controlled chaos and limitless experimentation. Their enduring 11-year friendship fuels a project breaking free from musical conformities, delivering glitchy internet-like sounds reminiscent of Thom Yorke, Bon Iver, and When Saints Go Machine. The debut EP/mini-album, "Reality Cravings," explores a just world and the self-administered apocalypse of mankind, emphasizing neglected precious possessions in a digitalized world. The music offers subtle yet frightening images of the world's situation, narrated discreetly, much like the confidant relationship between mermaids and secret sharers at the bottom of the sea, where deepest secrets are revealed once a year.
