Liverpudlian singer songwriter Michael Bennett is back with his new single 'The skies above us' 

The song is a bold move from Bennett and will surprise many of his fans with it's complete U turn from previous songs such as Red Jeans and soundless plea.

He's enlisted the help of Court royal guitarist Neil Owen better known as AKA47 who had previous success including slots at Glastonbury with former outfit Major Major.

With a heavy presence of slide guitar and emotion driven chorus, this song is a massive statement of intent.

The Skies Above Us will be available to purchase from March 16th 2015
