Hide Yourself Behind The Animal(first, but not final mix)

Here's a premiere of a track from the B-side of the forthcoming compilation "Above The Grey Line (Sketches)" - the continuation of "Beneath The Grey Line (Sketches).

With twenty-five tracks strong, Person:A (Niklas Kärreskog) continue his journey from experimental off-shoots to pristine minimal synth. These songs were made between 2009-2014 and ended up shaping the sound for "Matters" - his first proper album.

"Above The Grey Line (Sketches)" is just how it sounds, it is the proper follow-up to "Beneath The Grey Line (Sketches)", this time with a darker mood and touch, but in a similar vein akin to the first compilation of tracks.

Limited edition ocean blue cassettes (100 copies) with full on-body-printing will be released late November. Buying the cassette grants you full access to the digital release.

We are a couple of weeks out from the LP launch date and the November single release is the Crazy double-A side from Greek Cold-Wave legends Paradox Obscur .

Toxic Razor and Krystal Ann mix it up a bit on these tracks with Guest vocals from Adam Usi on "Cold Hearted" and this stomping version of And Ones' "Techno Man" on the flip..

Two sounds are better than one!!!!

Paradox Obscur - Techno Man (And One Cover)

Primer is the alias and creative project of vocalist/producer Alyssa Midcalf.

With her debut album, Novelty, Midcalf showcases her skills as both a vocalist and songwriter. The sound of the album, which was composed heavily on a Roland Juno synthesizer, is characterized by driving drum beats, sub-heavy bass lines and shimmering synth leads. Midcalf’s vocals are airy yet dynamic, binding her songs together with a reverberating surrealism. To see these elements on full display, look no further than her haunting cover of The Beach Boys song Til I Die. 

Partly inspired by the indie time travel film of the same name, Midcalf says she was also drawn to the sense of futurism the word Primer invokes. This is fitting with the tone of her debut album, which brings to mind images of a dystopian disco. 
 
Midcalf, who gained some attention as one half of the duo Parts, made her introduction as Primer with the single Anesthetized, released on YHS Records in 2018. Her full album, Novelty, is set to be released on YHS Records in early 2019.
