Dennis Free is an Oakland-born DJ & producer now based in New York City, making a significant mark in the music industry. In 2021, he co-founded the Level III Collective, a Brooklyn-based platform aimed at highlighting DJs from across the world. Alongside this, he leads global DJ mix partnerships at Apple Music, helping to push DJ mixes to the forefront of streaming. And on top of all that, he manages Black Hibiscus, a rising indie-soul artist.

As an artist, he has recently found his groove between 120-140 bpm, playing a mix of classic house, high percussion dance, and ghetto tech. His sets are characterized by deep, pulsating basslines and crisp, driving beats that keep the energy high and the dance floor moving. Dennis weaves in hypnotic vocal samples and syncopated rhythms, creating a sonic journey that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. His ability to read the crowd and adjust the vibe accordingly makes each performance unique, with an infectious energy that resonates long after the music stops.
