feeling defeated, beside myself, seated
next to a river, my heart retreating
eyes wide shut, weeping like a willow

love stole those dreams away violently

headstrong, but i feel so weak
intellectual with perpetual grief

walking among your thoughts but the floor falls out
always see all my flaws sprawled out

can i keep up my pace, heart like a dead weight
