many days i wonder if what i actually want is drawn from my own individuality, or something totally different.

societal & cultural norms shape our lives, down to the very mold we're supposed to fit in. we’re told to live our lives in perfect xyz order, and coloring outside of the lines is prohibited. The expectations placed on us turn us into machines…we’re constantly operating on autopilot with each day being a means to an end. my logical mind has suffered from this (something I’m learning to let go of) and has led to anxiety attacks and dissociation. and the sad thing is that i’m finding out SO many people can relate to this (one of the blessings of the internet).

idk about you but i’m ready to break the cog in the machine.
