Hipster panic! Swedish disco outfit Drop Out Orchestra is dropping a brand new single. This is their debut release on This Is Recordings, featuring vocals from Christopher Norman. 
The act has been extremely industrious in the studio in recent years. 
Drop Out Orchestra has released a slew of tracks on their own Drop Out imprint since 2009, including Gibbon, Polishing Our Act and the highly-acclaimed Capuchin track. 
The duo have also released on notable labels such as Eskimo Recordings, Mullet Records and King Of Sweden. Tracks that have seen their popularity rise and keep the phone ringing at their bookings office have been the recent It Will Never Be The Same Again / Sun Machine and the sublime All The Time We Need. Tracks such as Macaque are the epitome of what this duo is about, subtle, deep music, low BPMs, real bass guitar low end, coupled with quality vocal which soars over the tracks, sometimes with a sneaky wink towards the retro vox class of the Bee Gees. 

Drop Out Orchestra's In The Dark (ft. Christopher Norman) has two mixes. The Original mix is a deep and throbbing workout. Think shimmering glitter balls, funky real bass guitar plucks and stabs to set the mood. Platform shoes on, Christopher Norman commences his vocal “Only in the dark”. This is an intelligently made track, the subtlety of the track not detracting from its energy levels in any way. It’s a slab of retro future funk. 

The remix comes from NSFW (real name Alexander van Cappellen). This rising Dutch star has contributed some quality tracks to the label in recent months (Let U Go, Coconut), and his mix beefs up the original, giving an extra dimension. This talented producer maintains the vibe, gently pushing it more towards the dancefloor when the DJ gets into the swing of things and the floor is set for the night.
