"Remedies is an alt-pop/rock duo from Narvik in Northern Norway, formed in late 2016. The duo consists of Tor Erik Ursin (instrumentals) and Sigrid Ryan (vocals). Their music is characterized by combining elements from various genres, blended together in an original and dynamic soundscape. The duo compose, write, produce, and release their music independently. 

Remedies released their first EP Delusions in 2019. Several blogs took notice of Delusions. Platespilleren, a Norwegian blog, compared the duo to Bel Canto, Bertine Zertlitz and The Cardigans, describing the output as “clever and energetic“. Delusions was also picked up by Spotify and added to their playlist "New Music Friday Norway". 

Remedies first album, "Lights Out" was released on October 21st 2022. The album, including the singles Trapped, Psycho Scent, Holler, Putting On A Little Show and White Noise, has received recognition from established blogs, such as Conversations About Her, Obscure Sound, Cheers To The Vikings, The Revue, Analoguetrash, Death or Desire, Electrozombies and Where the Music Meets. It has also been featured on radio channels world wide. The album is self produced and partially recorded at home and in Kysten Studio in Tromsø."
