Pronounced like 'Stain' - but with more emphasis on the A than the I. This name was gifted to me by my older brother who has autism, and in an attempt to say my given name (Stephen) he pronounces it as Stayne. I love this name and it is great to have a moniker that carries a deeper meaning behind it. 

If you are seeking a message of self reflection and humility then you have arrived at your destination. Not so much with my first single and a little more with my second. But definitely with my third single - 'Who's Dead, How's the Weather?'
My passion for music certainly lies in writing lyrics that alleviate my own demons with the hope that this will carry across to my listeners. 

Almost every track from my debut EP to be released in 2020 could be titled 'Life.' Like most of us at 21 years old, I have no idea what will become of my life and sometimes this scares me. However, I see the bright side of this as we live in a world of opportunity with endless possibilities. 

I am incredibly fortunate to have a platform to share my music with you. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Sounds from a Green World
 
September 2011 saw East Limerick Community Radio launch its fulltime broadcasting schedule and as part of its weekly programming I host “Sounds from a Green World” every Thursday night at 8.30pm.
 
Never before has Ireland enjoyed such a rich and diverse music scene, however only a handful of artists amongst the hundreds that are out there are getting the airplay & promotion their creative efforts deserve. 

The show champions the hoards of up & coming acts whilst paying homage to those that have already made an impact and those that have left a musical legacy behind them.
 
I believe that music has a special power to move the soul and inspire - this is especially important in these challenging times when the nation could badly do with positive things to be proud off and our musical talent is most definitely something to treasure and support.
