Producer, engineer and DJ extraordinaire Reset Robot is the alias of Dave Robertson, an accomplished artist based in Portsmouth on the south coast of the UK. Since launching the pseudonym in 2009 he has traveled the globe, DJing at many of the world’s most influential clubs and festivals, as well as rolling out a slew of well-received productions on labels such as Drumcode, Mobilee, Hotflush and his own platform Whistleblower Records. 

As a DJ Reset Robot’s unassuming approach belies his magnetic appeal and innate ability to craft sets that are polished, enthralling and full of shadowy allure. A self-confessed studio hound, he spends all day, every day at the controls, allowing creativity to flow out of him and refining his skills. Two decades of experience feed into his output, and he prefers to keep things uncomplicated in the studio. The resultant sound is his signature; brooding, sombre, yet accessible and contagious. 

Reset Robot’s visceral rhythms infect your subconscious urging you to dance, while captivating motifs and riffs stay with you long after the rave has ended; earworms of the highest order. It’s a sound that has caught the attention of tastemakers across the industry, picking up releases with some of the most respected labels around.

With a live show being developed behind-the-scenes and a debut album, ‘Spiral Of Silence’, due for release in the summer, Reset Robot is entering a new phase of his musical life; confident, content and highly-motivated to keep on unleashing new productions, he is looking to the future with an renewed air of optimism and energy. Solis, is creator and founder of Amplified Music, dedicated to driving it forwards through events and promotion. He is a resident DJ for the brand, regularly dishing out the driving, energetic sets he has become known for.	 Constantly inspired by his regular visits to Ibiza, Javier has a passion for throwing parties. He has taken his hometown of Portsmouth by storm since 2007 when he started Amplified, and has also DJed at Ministry Of Sound, The End, The Mud Club, Junk, GlasHaus, Hush (Ibiza) and Spitbank Fort.	 With the addition of Amplified Trax to the brand, Solis has released some of his own music, with a deep, tech house sound that is his love and constant inspiration. He focuses on chunky basslines and instrumental elements to create an eclectic sound guaranteed get your body moving.

DJ’s, Producers and label owners, Andy Riley and Laurence Ritchie (AKA Inland Knights) have created a brand name that most House heads have heard of.  Whether you like it deep , tech or more funky – when you think about Drop Music or Inland Knights a certain style of House comes to mind that is uniquely their own. Andy and Laurence’s reach is global, and their label’s continue to produce some of the finest House music 15 years after they started back in the UK, within Nottingham's party scene.

Andy and Laurence  met in ’93 and cut their teeth Dj’ing for Smokescreen, the renegade sound system from which they drew their early inspiration. Smokescreen consisted of dj’s, lighting people, sound people, a truck, a P.A, a generator and general helpers. Old warehouses, woodland, fields, quarries and houses were utilized with the sole intention of having a good time…. for free! By the mid 90’s smokescreen could guarantee a crowd of hundreds in attendance at their parties(which were most weekends), and their club nights became local institutions that ran for years with packed dancefloors. Into their 21st year, Smokescreen are still going strong and are still hosting quality club nights and parties in and around the Midlands.

By ’98 Laurence and Andy had made the inevitable step into production and the same year their fledgling label, Drop Music, was born. With the release of ‘Inland Knights vol 1’ , Riley and Ritchie undertook a busy schedule to write tracks for Drop  (almost all of the early output was Inland knights, despite many monikers). Drop Music has gone on to become one of the most highly regarded House labels in recent years (with 80 plus releases to date), and Inland Knights have gone on to become one of the most respected and prolific production outfits in the House community, carving a unique and distinctive House sound, and regularly taking on remix and Ep duties for fellow labels and producers. Highlights include the acclaimed ‘Mohammed Ali’ remix for Faithless on Cheeky Records, CD compilations and remixes for NRK and Om Records, three Ep's on 2020 Vision, Inland Knights first full length album entitled ‘Creative Spaces’, and more recently, Inland Knights album to mark 10 years of Drop Music entitled ‘Dust till Dawn’, not to mention countless Ep's on other labels over the years and a 30-minute live mix on Radio 1’s ‘Essential Selection’ show. More recently, the pair released 'Inland Bytes', a retrospective look at Inland Knights career so far.

Currently, as well as remix, production and label commitments, the pair maintain a busy international Dj schedule which takes them further and further afield as their reputation grows. Bookings have included regular slots at UK clubbing institutions such as Fabric, The End, The Egg, The Cross, Turnmills, Shindig, Back 2 Basics,  Sanky's, Chibuku Shake Shake, Ministry Of Sound, Cargo, Déjà Vu, The Arches and The Sub Club in Scotland, as well as smaller more intimate venues nationwide. Countless international trips have seen them tour the Globe. Most weekends Inland Knights can be found DJ'ing up and down the UK or Europe with regular international tours a permanent fixture in their Diaries.

Nestled safely on the South Coast of England, Portsmouth is a place that is more commonly associated with big ships, bad tattoos and funny accents than it is with electronic music, but look a little bit closer and you will see that it is a city with a fast growing house scene, bustling with an abundance of talented DJs and producers. None more so than Soul Divide, a duo consisting of Sam Bylett and Daniel Back and considered by many as the finest pair to come out of the city since Amanda Holden’s cosmetic surgery in 2006.

Although the Soul Divide project only began in 2014, Sam and Daniel bring a combined total of well over thirty years’ worth of DJing experience to the table. After dangerously flirting with hard house in the early 2000s, the boys have spent the last fifteen years honing their skills and perfecting the soulful sound associated with Soul Divide, often described as “the exact opposite of Skrillex” or “heaven’s elevator music”.

Having successfully run events for the past eleven years both at home on the South Coast and further afield in London, Amsterdam and Ibiza, the transition to playing gigs as Soul Divide, in clubs like Ministry of Sound - London, Switch - Southampton, Halo - Bournemouth and The Arch - Brighton, came easier to Sam and Daniel than unwanted male attention comes to an attractive female in a nightclub smoking area. The duo have also appeared at Portsmouth’s Mutiny Festival and Southampton’s Soundclash Festival and do plan on  “playing a gig up north” at some point in their career. Since the Soul Divide project began, they have supported some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Jamie Jones, MK, Roger Sanchez, Patrick Topping, Kerri Chandler, Solardo and Hot Since 82 who described them as “great DJs but probably not as hot as me”.

Not content with just DJing and running parties, Soul Divide are also highly accomplished producers and are currently signed to some of house music’s most respected labels, including Elrow, Undr The Radr, Simma Black, Amplified Records, Freakin 909, Get Twisted, In The Loop, Audio Rehab. To date, their music has received support from some of the industries most influential voices, including Masters At Work, Todd Terry, Danny Howard and Pete Tong, who said “Oh, that’s going right in my basket” after discovering their track Catch the Light for the first time on Beatport. Soul Divide also run their own label, Amplified Records, which they use as a platform to launch their own music, champion the sound of some of the scene’s hottest emerging talents and a handy invite to industry events.

With current residencies at Love Amplified, in Portsmouth and Southampton, and Bump N Hustle, Bournemouth, as well as a number of national and international booking, including the Box at Ministry of Sound this June, 2018 is already shaping up to be a huge year of gigs for Soul Divide. Add that to upcoming releases on Get Twisted, Audio Rehab and Amplified Records and it’s clear to see that Soul Divide will be busier than a Berghain floor mopper this year and beyond.
