Trope is part one of a two part EP series that looks at the crossroads between continental and UK dub.

Trope EP focuses on the ambiguity of dub music, integrating fundamental elements from the dub techno sound of Detroit and mainland Europe, with more archetypal "dub" music associated with Jamaica and the contemporary UK underground. Big focus on sound design, groove and minimalism on this one.

How Du is a uk based artist hailing from the underground realms of Bristol city. He has been releasing music on such labels as Banoffee Pies, Pressure Dome, The Moth Club and Cold Light since 2017. With a keen interest in dub techno and ambient textures he brings an all vinyl mix of some of his favourite pieces which have come out in the last decade.
