Age is only a number of chances, I think. A sum of events and opportunities that life has given us so we can feel older. Ultimately, sooner or later we are all forced to accept our four-dimensional nature.
From time to time, from one day to another, something happens, and then everything is different and so are we – more complicated, more sophisticated, or simply dead.
Nevertheless, there are a lot of things that give us a chance to contemplate the meaning of the passage of time – the daily tiny little reminders of our curse.
And for me, music as a field of art is about time. Treating it objectively, subordinated by its ultimate subjectivity, constantly giving us a chance to make conclusions in a broader sense.

Impressionistic music existing outside of the verse-chorus-verse structures of a three-minute pop song that expand and blur the boundaries between shoegaze, gothic, ambient, folk, and electronica.

mayfairgrin has existed in various forms for the past 20 years. a mainstay to the underground, the project has released numerous albums. many of which are freely available on-line through popular netlabels. the project is primarily Andrew Farris; whom writes, records, programs, executes, and performs most of what's heard on each of mayfairgrin's compositions. the music is expansive and melancholy -- teetering somewhere between the depressed and the sanguine. 

Artists like Hammock, Tim Hecker, God Speed You Black Emperor, and Boards Of Canada served as equal inspiration and helped refine the emotional goals of the music itself. mayfairgrin has since received airplay on various college/indie radio stations across the US and in Europe, numerous remixes, club play, and received critical praise for mayfairgrin's unique and hard-to-define sound. Farris has worked with such artists as Julie Straw (PinkLogik), T Nathan Roane (formally of Vehemence Realized), film-maker/performance artist: Fabian Rush (Synthetic Nightmare), Joshua Sierk (Lunelac), Jason Coffman (Anaphylaxis), and NY-based spoken word poet: B. Lamont. the music of mayfairgrin has been remixed by artists such as Wormsign, Autovoice, Cryogen Second, PinkLogik, Anaphylaxis, and Cyberchump to name just a few.

AmalgaNation is an experimental musical project. Unbound by the idea of what a song should be, and instead presenting the possibility of what is, was and could be.

Ego Death is an experimental, dark ambient, industrial, soundtrack, noise one-man-project from Athens, Greece. It kicked off in 2004, just after the split of This Is Now / Death TV. The sound of Ego Death is created with the use of instruments and/or software facilities in various combinations. The man behind Ego Death had a strong previous experience from bands as This Is Now / Death TV, Ocean Distortion 21, and The Sunnyboys. After those projects closed a circle, he was present in the reincarnation of This Is Now / Death TV as DTV2 and DTV3.
