Tommy Trash (born Thomas Olsen) debuted in 2006 and quickly emerged as a high-profile electro-house DJ and producer through a steady supply of remixes and his own releases. In 2006, the native of Queensland, Australia, along with Goodwill, remixed Sugiurumn's "Star Baby," but 2007 was a breakout year for Trash. Signed to Ministry of Sound Australia, he released a handful of singles -- some of which were collaborations with Goodwill, as well as with Tom Piper -- and remixed tracks by the likes of Green Velvet, the Veronicas, and Armand Van Helden. He also mixed the first volume in Ministry of Sound's Electro-House Sessions series. His 2008 was as prolific, and 2009 was a banner year that culminated with an ARIA Award nomination in the category of Best Dance Release (for "Need Me to Stay"). As he continued to release his own work on Ministry of Sound, Dim Mak, and Fool's Gold, he also maintained his remarkable amount of remixing duties. Moby, Zedd, Timbaland, and Swedish House Mafia released his work. "Reload," a collaboration with Sebastian Ingrosso, was released in September 2012 and eventually worked its way to number three on the U.K. singles chart (as well as number four on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart). That same year, he earned a Grammy nomination for his remix of Deadmau5's "The Veldt." In 2014, he produced the track "Mr. President" on Kylie Minogue's album Kiss Me Once, while 2015 saw him release the single "About U" with BURNS. The hard-hitting "Louder" -- a collaboration with Kill the Noise and R. City -- was issued the same year. "Wake the Giant" with JHart followed, along with two remix EPs. Before the year's end, Trash released the three-track Luv U Giv EP. In 2016, singles like "Bird Alert," Lose My Mind," and "IOUE" preceded the Group Chat EP, which featured contributions by Moosh & Twist, Jesse Boykins III, A-Trak, Gladiator, Kittens, and Tommy Lee Sparta. The bright anthem "Dreamer" (featuring DENM) arrived in 2017.

Included on gardenstate's 'Inspirations' album (released in October 2021), the heartfelt track has seen a new lease of life in recent months. 'The Best Part' has been streamed over five million times as of May 2022, with over 47,000 videos using the track on Instagram Reels, and support in Spotify's 'Chill Tracks' and 'Viral Dance' playlists.

'The Best Part' has also been remixed by Patrice Bäumel and Lost Prince, with Patrice's remix becoming a favourite of UK tastemakers Camelphat, and supported multiple times on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong.

Acclaimed Dutch duo Tinlicker (Micha Heyboer and Jordi van Achthoven) have released their stirring new single ‘Be Here and Now’ on London based independent label Anjunadeep. The single release is accompanied by a music video directed by Julius Ponten and starring Dutch actor Werner Kolf (Wolf, Gangster, Vechtershart). 

A collaboration with vocalist Nathan Nicholson, who has previously worked with Claptone, Kiko Franco, and Hannah Wants, ‘Be Here and Now’ presents as a part ballad, part progressive house anthem. Featuring the ecstatic builds and strings that have become synonymous with Tinlicker’s hair-raising sound, the single invokes the emotions of looking back at what once was. On the single, vocalist Nathan Nicholson explains:

"When Tinlicker first sent me the instrumental for this song, long before they gave it rhythm, I fell in love with it - just piano and strings. It was very powerful and a lot of the lyrics and all of the melody came out on my first pass. The lyrics are about a longing for the past and the innocence of growing up. I lost my mom when I was eighteen and within a year moved from Tennessee to England, so my childhood into adulthood has a very strong line running in between. I'm in a constant war with nostalgia - the other life - and where I am right now. In this song I'm simply telling myself to have reverence for my past, but not to be beholden to it. A huge thanks to Tinlicker for asking me to be a part of it.”

‘Be Here and Now’ joins Tinlicker’s esteemed catalogue, which includes their 2019 album ‘This Is Not Out Universe’ which saw support from the likes of Pete Tong, Ben Malone at Kiss FM, SiriusXM Chill, 538 Dance Department, Slam!, and Sunshine Live, as well as prolific producers such as deadmau5, Gorgon City, Cassian, Eli & Fur, Lane 8, Dosem and Edu Imbernon. 

Having individually honed their skills as part of a world-renown drum and bass act Black Sun Empire (Heyboer), and as a producer, songwriter and music editor for many artists (Van Achthoven), Tinlicker has quickly become a household name in the world of electronic dance music. Their single ‘Because You Move Me’ is currently #20 on the German radio charts and has accrued over 100M Spotify streams, whilst their rework of Robert Miles recently hit Beatport #1.

With releases on labels such as Anjunadeep, mau5trap and Armada, their original collaborations with Ben Böhmer, Dosem, Lane 8, and remixes for deadmau5, James Zabiela and Reflekt have become indispensable ingredients for the world’s biggest radio and DJ shows. ‘Be Here and Now’ marks a new chapter for Tinlicker, hinting at exciting things to come.

Above & Beyond link up with Anjunabeats favourite Mat Zo, on their new collaborative single ‘Always Do’.

An ID from last summer's Group Therapy 450 celebration in London, ‘Always Do’ is a warehouse-ready blend of sounds from Above & Beyond and Mat Zo, complete with distorted vocals and acid-laden basslines. This is not the first time that Above & Beyond and Mat Zo have creatively crossed paths: Mat previously remixed A&B and Richard Bedford’s ‘Thing Called Love’ back in 2012.

‘Always Do’ kicks off Above & Beyond's busy musical schedule for 2022. It was road-tested extensively on the trio’s Anjunafamily Reunion Tour in autumn 2021, which visited all corners of North America, including a pair of sold-out nights at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

In December 2021, Above & Beyond were invited to perform an intimate, livestream DJ set at Piedra del Peñol in Guatape, Colombia for French YouTube sensation Cercle. The replay of their set has been watched nearly three million times on YouTube.

Mat Zo broke onto the scene in 2008 and has been causing an uproar ever since. In the early noughties, he penned Anjunabeats classics like ‘The Lost’ and ‘Synapse Dynamics’ which were far ahead of their time. They were followed by the likes of ‘Superman’, ‘The Sky’, and ‘Rebound’ (with ARTY). He pushed the Anjunabeats sound to the mainstage, racking up spins from Pete Tong, Axwell, and Armin van Buuren. His latest studio album, ‘Illusion of Depth’, was released on the label in October 2020.

Mat joins Anjunabeats at their upcoming label shows in London and Miami. In 2011 London duo Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell, aka Dusky, released their debut album ‘Stick By This’. The LP, released on UK independent label Anjunadeep, won acclaim from Resident Advisor, DJ Mag and Mixmag, who described it as “deep, soulful, swooning house”. Pete Tong crowned ‘Stick By This’ as “one of the albums of the year”, and it went on to kick-start Dusky’s rise to the top of the UK underground.

Marking a decade since it’s release, ‘Stick By This’ is being re-issued as a deluxe 10th anniversary edition, with a first ever vinyl pressing on a 3x12” colour vinyl. The deluxe album also sees two new remixes from the legendary Matthew Herbert and exciting Russian artist Maruwa, alongside an existing remix from Midland.

I did this custom version of Invocation (from the Audiomachine ASCENDANCE album) for a trailer pitch that ultimately didn't land, but I really love how it came out with Andrew Prahlow's new vocals and the added orchestral lines, and wanted the world to hear it. Enjoy!
