Dutch producer Nordfold returns to Anjunadeep with the release of his new double-cut ‘Letter To Lillehammer / First’. The latest in a series of EPs on Anjunadeep, this new offering demonstrates Nordfold’s flair for intricate sound design - a flair that most recently saw his track ‘Down Memory Lane’ supported by the likes of Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn and BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart.

A standout moment from James Grant & Jody Wisternoff’s set for Anjunadeep’s Open Air Prague event, the title track first made an appearance on the duo’s ‘Anjunadeep 12’ compilation earlier this year. ‘Letter to Lillehammer’ leads with soft piano melodies whilst B-side ‘First’ features a warm vocal loop and intricate percussive rhythms.

"When I first heard the original of 'Some Good Here' I was instantly hooked - with the world on pause, it was the perfect antidote and tool to allow me to sit back and get lost in the moment.

The vocal performance from Anaphase is outstanding, hence from the outset I knew the vocals were going to take center stage. The original song has two very distinct sections  - there's the more intimate verse that draw you in, and then there's the soaring, higher register sections which lift the track. Trying to keep things as pure as possible I wanted a single sequence/melody - something that would sit along side the vocal and accompany it on its journey.  After much experimenting I ended up using the the Yamaha CS80 - with its slightly wonky pitch and rich character, they turned out to be a great pairing and I am really happy where its landed"

This November Ryan Davis’ most-recent EP ‘Home’ gets two new remixes courtesy of the United Kingdom’s Vessels and Russian producers Gorje Hewek & Izhevski. Vessels' reinterpretation of ‘Obsidian’ elaborates on the original’s deep and dark undertones, laying other-worldly pads and cascading arpeggios on a kick-heavy drumline. Conversely, Gorje Hewek & Izhevski present a lighter, melodic rework of Davis ‘Dimmed’; the duo build on Davis’ organic sound design to compose a piece which is both introspective and refined.

Host of Granada-based Mordisco Club parties, where the likes of Jennifer Cardini, Red Axes, Fort Romeau, John Talabot and Pional - to name a few - have graced the decks, half of the Spanish DJ and producer duo Mordisco kicks off his own label. Latido channels a dark disco sound with influences ranging from italo to punk, encapsulating a sound where both synths and guitars feel at home on 4/4 beats.

Up to the bat for the inaugural release are a slew of talents ranging from Mexico’s Globemaster, Berlin-based Alejandro Molinari, Tel Aviv’s RINA & Benji and composer Agle.
'Sal Al Club' sets off proceedings with a new wave atmosphere, showcasing Globemaster’s rave influences as well as his sound design chops. 'Crepusculo' dives into the murky side of the dancefloor shadows, accented with a brooding vocal and eerie pads. 'Robbie Kane' contains fragments of an interview of Margot Robbie, as her voice lights up the atmosphere intertwined with spiralling synths and mellow key pads. 'Vacation For You' describes another journey into the deep and cloudy side of the spectrum, alternating between an upbeat lead and the ruminating bassline.
