Hailing from the Black Forest in the Southwest region of Germany, burgeoning singer-songwriter and producer PaulWetz is one of the most exciting young artists to hop onto our radar in 2021.Following a veritable slew of majestic singles dropped over the past twelve months, including Impatience, Hypnotize Me, Bruises, People and Misfits, the prolific German artist now looks to round off the year in emphatic fashion, with the announcement of his latest musical offering, Moment. Anevocative and melancholic slice of indie-influenced vocalelectronica, Moment sees Paul team up with Berlin-based producer Dillistone for the pair’s eagerly-anticipated debut collaboration. Fresh off the back of his huge label debut onSelected. with Haunted back in October, this latest cut sees Dillistone provide a brooding instrumental backdrop to PaulWetz’ hypnotictop-line as the pair come together in perfect accord to deliver one of the most intriguing, introspective cuts we’ve released on the label to date.

Kicking off 2022 in wondrous style is Swedish producer Klur with 'Entangled', the first single from his upcoming debut artist album. Handpicked by curators Jody Wisternoff & James Grant, the Anjunadeep 13 Sampler hosts 6 highlights from the compilation, featuring Westseven & Ross Farren, Bantwanas, Oliver Wickham, Cornelius SA, Hessian and Simon Shackleton.

Following his debut on Ajnunandeep Explorations 06, Malaysian producer Westseven pairs up with Ross Farren in ‘Muse Of Mine’, the opening track on this year’s Sampler. 

South African collective Bantwanas return to the label with their track ‘Inthombi’, featuring vocals from Noni Jali. Following their Anjunadeep debut ‘Dignane’, the collective have been supported on BBC Radio 1, KCRW and Kiss FM. 

Next up is Canadian producer Oliver Wickham with his track ‘World Away’. Oliver first debuted on Anjunadeep with his collaborative cut ‘Dear Ben’ in 2020 and has since gone on to release his track ‘Indigo’ on the label in 2021. 

Based in South Africa, Cornelius marks a bold return to Anjunadeep with ‘Soaring, following his debut on Anjunadeep Explorations 18’. Leading with delicate melodies and perucsive laden grooves, Cornelius demonstrates why he’s released on labels including DAYS like NIGHTS and mau5trap.

Bristol based producer Hessian is next on the Sampler with his track ‘Rain’. Anchoring on pulsing strings and a warm bass, Hessian showcases his intricate sound design, utilising nature recordings in the build-up. 

Closing out the EP is a fresh remix of Simon Shackleton ‘Traumstaat’ from Jody and James. Leading with the original emotive string lead, the duo add soft synths and a rhythmic drumbeat to the track.

German act Rezident delivers a stunning rework of Ben Böhmer’s standout single ‘Erase’ with British singer and producer lau.ra. 

Ben Böhmer and his sophomore album ‘Begin Again’ are becoming fast favourites staple in the world of electronic music. The album has accumulated over 40m streams, and Ben has sold out all dates on his 30-date headline tour, with a total of 35,000 tickets purchased. His stellar run continues as he takes to the festival circuit this summer, appearing at renowned festivals such as Junction 2, Rock In Rio, EDC Las Vegas and îLESONIQ. 

Rezident, who has supported Ben on the European leg of his album tour, now rewords one of the most loved singles from the album. His remix of ‘Erase’ maintains the dreamy and atmospheric sounds of the original, whilst adding an upbeat energy that acts as a perfect counterpoint to lau.ra’s dreamy vocals.

‘Erase’ (Rezident Remix) is out on Anjunadeep on May 25, ahead of the full ‘Begin Again (Remixed)’ package, which is available to pre-order now, ahead of its release on June 15.
