Food for the Soul,

There are certain things in our world that inspire life. Spending time with friends, adventuring, partying; everyone has different foods for their souls. 

In my debut independent single, I was on a search to emulate the euphoria of life that makes your cheeks blush and sends chills down your spine. Music, especially electronic music, evokes an animation for life in me. It is a community of people connected on an energetic wavelength, where the regular struggles of day-to-day life become invisible. No judgement, just an experience with the music. 

I'm at a crossroads in my life. I am a senior about to graduate from USC. When I started producing in high school, I was awful – making terrible song after terrible song. A few times I gave up, but I consistently found myself coming back to the music. Six years later, I am ready to share my art and vision with the world. I didn't force it. I didn't make music with the goal of being popular. I have given my all in pushing myself to reach my full creative potential. 

From songwriting and producing this track, filming this video on my Super 8 in Indonesia, developing the film, and editing in Premiere; I have been in full creative control.

I hope this song resonates with you. It is the advent of a project with years of work behind the scenes that I am finally ready to emerge from the shadows and see the light.

The Fragments series returns with its thirty-third edition, ‘Fragments XXXIII’, presenting a captivating trio of tracks from both returning and debuting artists on Purified Records. Russian duo Garlington opens the compilation with ‘The Ghost Was Gentle’, a cinematic, slow-building cut that envelops listeners in a deep, immersive soundscape with subtle echoes of deep-tech intensity. Australian producer Ariv3 follows with ‘Rapture’; a lush, organic journey featuring intricate piano lines, percussive textures and inventive sound design that evokes a serene, centering experience. Closing the release, Cornelius SA joins forces with UK-based Skyknock for their label debut with ‘Echoes’; a reflective and ambient melodic piece that balances stripped-back instrumentation with gentle dancefloor motion, creating a soothing yet engaging finale. Seamlessly blending emotion, texture and forward-thinking production, ‘Fragments XXXIII’ reaffirms the series as a showcase for nuanced artistry and melodic exploration.

Taken by Rachel Moore, the ‘Fragments XXXIII’ artwork features a mother humpback whale with her calf, resting in the warm clear waters of Mo’orea, French Polynesia. Rachel is a professional underwater photographer and environmental advocate dedicated to capturing the wonders of marine life. With a special focus on the grace and intelligence of humpback whales, her storytelling inspires a deeper connection to the ocean and a commitment to its preservation.

Whales are just one of many species that depend on French Polynesia’s unique and fragile ecosystems. Association Nani protects this biodiversity through marine animal rescue, research, and community education, ensuring that whales, turtles, and other species continue to thrive in the region’s waters.

The ‘Space’ EP artwork is a photograph taken by Jan Erik Waider at Hoffellsjökull glacial lagoon in Iceland, which is part of Vatnajökull National Park. A fine art photographer based in Hamburg, Germany, Jan is known for capturing abstract landscapes of the northern latitudes. With a focus on water, ice, and intricate natural patterns, his work reveals the beauty hidden in the subtle details of the world around us.

Frozen regions store nearly 70% of the world’s freshwater and play a crucial role in regulating global climate. The International Association of Cryospheric Sciences (IACS) supports research on glaciers, snow, sea ice, and permafrost to better understand and protect these vital systems.
