After 3 storming installments CE closes The World Electronix series with it's final outing Volume 4. This EP dives into deep and twisted electro realms with tracks from E.R.P, Sync 24 & Deixis, Plant43 and Steve Allman.

The first track comes from a man who needs no Introduction. Gerard Hanson has been at the cutting edge of high quality electronic music for over 18 years now releasing as Convextion and his more electro edged alias E.R.P. For CE he serves up a signature style piece. Super deep pads, hooky bass lines and dreamy melodies layered over crisp rolling beats.

CE and Abstract Forms label heads Sync 24 & Deixis turn in their 3rd track for the series. Ah Ah Ah is a pure off kilter analogue affair made up of trippy sequences, squelchy bass and twisted bleeps.

The flip side see's Emile Facey aka Plant43 returning to CE for another release. Over the last few years Plant43 has been highly prolific in establishing himself as a leading artist in the UK electro scene with a string of excellent releases on label's such as Semantica, Frustrated Funk and Central Processing Unit. His track GJ 1214b in suit with E.R.P's A side continuing with smooth, deep and rolling vibes.

Finally closing the Series is the debut release from London Electro party Scand resident, Steve Allman. Evolution Technology carries on the quirky theme of Ah Ah Ah in a straighter style. Funky bass lines, bleepy leads, tough beats and vocoders in true electro spirit are a perfect close to the series!

Next up on CE will be the the World Electronix remixes. Featuring a remix from each volume from The Hacker, Sync 24, Matti Turunen and Marco Bernardi.

To start the year 2014, Stroboscopic Artefacts bring you SA021 – a remixes selection of tracks from Lucy’s forthcoming LP Churches Schools and Guns. In presenting four of the album cuts in altered impressions, SA021 helps the label keep on re-examining the timbres, tones and textures of techno. First up is the unsettled edit of ‘Catch Twenty Two’ by the young Italian producer Shapednoise. The infamous Heller novel of the same name (though in numerals rather than letters) was a satirical rampage through the futility and tragedy of conflict; this is also a rampage, littered with opaque utterances of sonic thrust, stood stoutly on an unpredictable and emotional structure of aural dissonance. Following this is the Italian maestro Donato Dozzy and his presentation of ‘The Illusion of Choice’. The track bounds along like a train through the jungle, powered by a distant rumble and purring synths. Skittering and melodic percussion sounds a little like birds; the drums are made of rawhide, strong, insistent, controlled. Third in line is the remix of ‘Laws and Habits’ by Milton Bradley. This cut is hypnosis with little regard – not an accident, but effortless. Metallic distortion buzzes like bees across your head, zipping across the top of delicate hi-hats and an elastic groove. This is a walk through the 4am night, appreciative of the glimmering streetlamps, and fearful of nothing. Last is Eomac’s rework of ‘The Self As Another’, bringing the record to a resonant conclusion. One half of label favourite Lakker, the Irish producer begins with a melody line cut from razor-sharp cloth. The pulsating beat is dressed in metallic shimmer, confidently pursuing a dangerous course. And yet there is a pause amid this brief insistence, a moment of perspective, perspicacity. The record considers its place, and asks for contemplation.
With a selection this strong, and of such ideas and identities, this contemplation is surely a worthy vice. This may be a prelude to the full record, but it is a cut made of vehement conviction.

Who are the artists though? KR$CHN is from Chicago, and likes to produce house, hip-hop, trap, and dubstep. What a combo, right? As for Joan Of Art (Saliou Seck), he hails from Nantes, France. Seck only defines the music he likes to produce as “Electronic and Urban Dance Music”.

Regardless of where they come from, they found each other, and gave us a piece of electro-trap magic. The track starts out very dream like, and progresses with a soft bubbly synth. All of a sudden, a man says, “Bounce”, and the feel of the track changes from dreamy, to upbeat electro-trap like. But wait there’s more, in the second break, the soft synth transforms into a crunchy sound, and then back again. Although it sounds pretty strange, you’ll really want to hear it for yourself. Shadow Movement is a Project which started in 2012. After working as solo artists, both Rafael and Raul decided to share their ideas in a new experience. From house to techno, at this new stage they seek to take their music, loaded with melody and breakthrough content, to the next level.

Their influence comes from great electronic music classics to 70's and 80's progressive rock, which they really admire. One year after the project began; they got the support and incentive necessary to achieve their goals, which was definitive for their future. 2014 is the starting point for the duo to hit the road, along with releases scheduled for the first part of the year which promise to surprise the public.

Italians Louis Kolben & Mozi. Featuring two tracks, this EP posses some strong dramatic influences that within itself, tell a story of emotion and change. The project reflects all the phases that occur, whilst on a pathway of growth as well as the obstacles that scan running time, which are experienced when breaking periods of intense activity.
The two italian producers Louis Kolben & Mozi kick things off with the track ‘Stubborn‘. Commanding an intensity from the get go, it has a solid drive and consistent energy from start to finish. To give it some light and shade, ambient landscapes and an edgier more glitchy vibe are brought together to enhance a unique sound. There is a clever sense of depth and physical space within this track, which adds a whole new dimension.
'Suddenly‘ is track number two from Louis Kolben. Dropping a notch or two and putting out a slightly deeper feel then track one, its the rich rolling bassline that really gives this track its backbone. The progression is subtle and seems slow at first, but it quickly builds momentum. Industrial inspired samples and some quirky sounds fill in the gaps, creating a well balanced contrast of sounds.

Igor Vicente is a name that many may not have heard of yet, but this it is not from lack of presence in the scene. From his legendary Wild Family parties in Belgium, to his recent State Of Flow residency at world-renowned Fuse club, and his collaboration as Ultrasone, this quick rising star is becoming a tour de force within the spectrum of House and Techno. Now on his own as a solo artist, Igor is moving onward and upward with his own forward thinking productions and unique DJ sound.
His debut EP, Mystericordia is a solid first entry into the Mobilee family. This record showcases Igor’s journey into the deep and dark depths of underground House. A sound that he has already been developing over the years as a DJ in Belgium and a part of Ultrasone, which he has clearly transitioned into his style of production, but with his own flair as a solo artist.
The title track “Mystericordia” starts our journey through darker landscapes with its heavy kick drums and deep vibes it slowly brings us through a land of intrigue without losing us in monotony. After slowly introducing us to this far off land “Mallowdie” quickly picks up the pace with a vibe that is sure to fill dance floors instantly but without losing the ambience of our previous adventure.  
After taking us through this land where distorted voices speak to us like a ghost in the machine we finally reach “Dance System” the final destination on our map.  This time we are brought back a little bit to the light with complex drum patterns that keep us moving and constant elements of surprise, but never taking itself too seriously so you don’t forget that we eventually have to come back from this outer world.

'Love/Kraft Part 2' is released on November 10 via Zone, the record label ran by Amato and fellow darkness-bringer Gesaffelstein, and features seven more tracks that touch upon Italo Disco, Detroit-styled electro and punishing techno.

We have the premiere of 'Jupiter Skyline' and it's one of the more fiery cuts on the EP. Skipping around the 126bpm mark, this is a glitchy and synth-laden production, one that hypnotises and pummels in equal measures. Check it.

Nathan Fake and Wesley Matsell's new Cambria Instruments label already got us salivating with a split release between the two Border Community-affiliated artists in August. NF's track 'Black Drift' was intriguing and restrained, a subtle return to the fray after two years without releases – but now we have 'Nuuk' from his first full solo Cambria Instruments EP, and he's really cut loose. It's a stunner, somehow both fragile and nails-hard, and easily as spine-tingling as 'The Sky Was Pink'. It's good to have him back.

Hot on the heels of volume 2 CE returns with the 3rd edition of the World Electronix series. This time with another sizzling line up of global electro talent. With the first 2 EP's aimed at the darker, moody side of the genre this EP ventures into lighter, deeper territories with exclusive tracks from J.T.C, Gosub, Sync 24 & DeFeKT and Versalife.

Kicking off preceedings is Michigan native and all round production wizard Tadd Mulinix aka J.T.C (Nation, Ghostly, Creme). Whatever genre Tadd lends his hand to something special arises and for CE he turns in a great Drexcyian insired track with dreamy pads and pulsating chords!

Keeping things on the U.S side is Miami resident and Isophlux founder Shad T Scott aka Gosub. An electro stalwart for over 10 years Shad has released on labels including Frustrated Funk, Solar One, Transient Force and Abstract Forms. For this EP he delivers a signature style electro funk laden groove for the mind and floor.

The B side is headed up with a new collaboration between CE label head Sync 24 and Dublin based electro/techno producer DeFeKT. Matt Flanagan has been making waves in the electro scene for the last few years with great releases for Solar One Music, Combat Recordings and AC records to name a few. For his CE debut he and Sync 24 turn in a pure modular analogue groove reminiscent of the late 90's electro sound.

Rounding off the EP is Dutch electro/techno heavy weight Boris Bunnik aka Versalife/Conforce. A real power house in modern electronic music Boris has been consistenty releasing on the hottest labels including Clone, Frustrated Funk, Delsin and Rush Hour. Appearing as Versalife on this EP he comes with pounding 808 kicks, slippery machine percussion, lush strings and bubbly acid!

The third Outis Podcast Series Episode.

After ten years of futile siege the Greeks, following a plan devised by Odysseus, pretended to renounce to the conquest of the city and come back home leaving on the beach a huge wooden horse; it was intended as offering to appease the gods and propitiate the return trip in homeland. But hidden inside the horse there were the bravest Greek warriors led by Odysseus.
Odysseus's plan included a  man who would have been left outside of the horse.
A Greek soldier named Sinon was the only volunteer for the role.
In Virgil's poem, Sinon successfully convinces the Trojans that he has been left behind and that the Greeks were gone.
Sinon tells the Trojans that the Horse was an offering to the goddess Athena, meant to expiate for the previous desecration of her temple during the Troy's siege by the Greeks, and ensure a safe journey home for their fleet.
The Horse was built on such a huge size to prevent the Trojans from taking the offering into their city, and thus garnering the favor of Athena for themselves.
The Trojans, happy for this, dragged the horse inside the city walls, despite Laocoon and the prophetess Cassandra had previously advised them not to.
In our case the task of opening the doors of the fourth release (Outis004) has been entrusted to another dear friend and respected musician from Rome,
Mr. Brando Lupi;
I shared with him , even if not directly, the years spent in Elettronica Romana and Dozzy Records.
He has delighted us with a wonderful mix and I am truly honored to be able to host him on this label.
From my personal point of view Brando has a unique taste and his music is a strong feeling of a versatile artist without cliché and that's why his music has always intrigued me.
