Hey – it’s me again!
This is Talking to Ghosts — the second release from my ongoing project Cycles I.

I’ve refined my TouchOSC loop engine for this one, making it easier to switch between loops in real time. It’s a quiet but important step forward in my setup — less distraction, more flow.

The piece itself has a strange kind of presence. The loops start talking back. Layers appear, disappear, reappear — like echoes of something that was once there. Or maybe still is.

Over the past weeks, this piece slowly became more personal. As the anniversary of my brother’s death approached, certain memories and emotions began to resurface — quietly, insistently.
I didn’t plan for it to become personal, but somehow it did.
There’s a feeling of reaching out — not knowing who (or what) might answer. A sense of speaking into something unseen, hoping to hear something in return.

Maybe that’s what looping is: a conversation with what’s left behind.

The world is shifting — AI, music, identity, everything. I’m trying to figure out what it means to exist as an artist right now. What can I offer? What am I even trying to say? I don’t have answers yet. But this is part of the search.
