Hello all, 

Usually I post 1 live recording per year, and that's my set at Wildeburg Festival. However, this year the last day got canceled due to bad weather, so everyone had to leave the grounds and go home. Then the sweet folks at Birdcage Radio offered their studio where I could play the set, record and stream it to Twitch. Thanks for that! <3

This set has some new tracks that I've worked on in the studio recently, some older ones and exciting stuff from others.

About this journey:
" 20 years ago I mixed vinyl records for the first time. The process instantly captivated me and I bought turntables and started building my first vinyl collection.  It was an exciting journey ahead of me. Over time my preferences were changing, one style was replacing another, but one thing has always remained the same... whether I'm writing music or making a compilation, for me my interaction with music has always been accompanied by magical surprises that defy any logical explanation. Today I will give you an example of one such surprise. When I was buying new records, I was always focusing on one or more tracks that I liked, and there were usually tracks that I didn't find interesting enough for me. But. A few years would pass, and when compiling the next set I would accidentally stumble upon these very uninteresting tracks and realize with amazement that they now perfectly match my current preferences and are also perfect for a new compilation =). Music is an incredible mystery. At one time, having made a choice in my life in the direction of greater contact with this mystery I was convinced of it definitively. I invite you to come along with me on this lyrical journey, which is entirely composed of just such tracks ;) "

💭 In der Geschichte der Menschheit gibt es schier unzählige ungeklärte Ereignisse. Das beginnt beim plötzlichen Verschwinden der Hochkultur aus dem Industal vor 3500 Jahren, geht über den Bau monumentaler Gebäude aus Stein und endet (nicht) bei Sichtungen und Berichten über UFOs. Unsere Welt erscheint als gründlich erforscht und wissenschaftlich akkurat dokumentiert, jedoch gibt es noch so viele Geheimnisse und Ungeklärtes zu lüften. Zum einen gibt uns die Kleinstwelt der Teilchen und Quanten, als auch das große Ganze in Form des Weltalls, Rätsel auf. Zu unseren Lebzeiten werden unmöglich alle Ungereimtheiten aufgeklärt und entschlüsselt. Vieles bleibt weiterhin im Verborgenen, und uns nur die Spekulation. Im Schnitt wissen wir viel weniger über die Welt, als wir annehmen. Ein Grund mehr, sich in demütiger Dankbarkeit zu üben.

🎵 Der Podcast von San Miguel beginnt mit samtweicher Melancholie. Es ist die Sehnsucht nach einem Tanz, umgeben von schönen Menschen in einem Setting der Hingabe. Dieser Drive erscheint ebenso mystisch wie tiefgehend und durchzieht den gesamten Podcast. Außergewöhnlich fesselnd zieht die Musik die Aufmerksamkeit in ihren Bann.
