This is meant to be a demo to gain interest in starting a live band with me, it doesn't have to be Social deception related but I am interested in playing live again possibly with a new band and shared creative control.

Some time ago @dj-pietrekb showed me a great free Kontakt (it works on free Player version) plug-in called Arcane by Embertone. I decided to use one of the 4 "instruments" contained in it (that unusual single female vocal) to create this little track.
Beside that I've used a great UVI DXS synthesizer from the Digital Synsations pack, Massive and, known to those who follow my tracks: Epic Choir, Epic Strings and Cinematic Percussion from the Originals series by Spitfire, Flutes and Trumpets from Spitfire's Free BBC SO Discovery.
I used 2 samples: Djembe 120bpm from Ableton Live's Core Library and Chimes Finger Down from, also Ableton's, Drum Essentials pack.

While creating this track, I noticed that it sounds very similar to Ennio Morricone's works, especially those from the movie "The Mission" 😉 which was not my intention at all... It just turned out that way 😆

This is a song I came up with, playing my five string fretless bass along with essentially a click track. I then invited everyone to share their talents on it, too. Ken (K2 and the Three, and K2 and the Four) came up with exactly the drums I was hoping for, strong and accentuating what I'm doing on the bass. JJ's (J.J. Terrell) keys gave it the character of a lighter, funkier jam and completely awakened a new sound within the song by adding a great, catchy riff that flows throughout. Tez (Llanpsych) added some magnificent guitar leads, as I've come welcomingly to expect from him. You can really hear his fiery guitar throughout the whole verse and first section, and at the end, too. Steve (Steve's Planet) added the vocals and wrote the original lyrics, too. His strong, creative singing really helped jump this into the category of a song, rather than a jam. He also showed us that he's willing to follow us anywhere creatively, and very boldly, too. Stephen (TexMex Shaman) added the wild, thrilling guitar solo in the crescendo section, as well as the guitar riffs at the end. He also brought the whole thing together by expertly and meticulously producing and mixing it. Ken and Tez both added some mastering to the final mix, too. We all hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did putting it together.

Recovering

I have found some ways to recover - when I’m anxious or feeling low
I send a mail to my Grandkids just to give them my love
and if it is not too late an answer comes back
and I turn around and continue my restorative sleep

Sometimes when I’m feeling low - I ask for support from my wife
it might happen in the middle of the night and she never will protest
she will just take my little hand and squeezes it so light
and I turn around and continue my restorative sleep

If I wake up in the middle of the night - with a nightmare in my poor little brain
I will pick up my mobile and listen to the songs
that all my music friends have published on the net
