‘Why’ is the sixth studio quality Grey Hounds song to be released, this one delves into the meaning of life. A small percentage of people know exactly what they’re doing here and are getting on with it. The rest of us spend lives wondering around aimlessly hoping to crack the enigma of life. Who’d have thought choosing a cover for this song would be so much fun, the ‘Y’ fronts came up trumps of course.
We're a bunch of grey-haired old men having fun writing our own songs and wishing we'd done it 40 years earlier!! The plan is to write and release an album of songs in the coming year or so, then build the courage to go out and play them live in front of real audiences.

Veil of the Universe is the new single by Nightsorrow, a sonic journey where dream pop, shoegaze, and ethereal wave intertwine to create a luminous yet melancholic atmosphere.

With whispered vocals that float like another instrument, the track unfolds through layers of guitars and infinite reverbs, evoking both the immensity of the cosmos and the fragility of the human spirit. It captures the duality of distant beauty: comfort and loss, light and shadow.

Inspired by the tradition of Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, and Beach House, Nightsorrow delivers a piece that doesn’t seek answers, but instead invites the listener into a state of dreamy introspection.

Veil of the Universe (Single)

So my 2nd Drop D tune, 'The Whisperers', Sabbath, motorhead, maiden, Tremonti, Alterbridge maybe..  have a listen. Not sure what it is but this tuning brings out the darkness in me!!! Stretched myself maybe too far vocally on this, but I still think it works and hey, I ain't perfect!!!!!
