@user-936947521: more kind words from you rans  the story behind this song is ....many years ago i works as a cabaret duo with my cousin who is a great guitarist  i played bass and sang harmonies and i sang lead on a couple of songs in the set . this was one of the songs i sang on stage for many years and i would put my heart and soul into it as it was one of a few occasions where i could come to the front. Now i do all the music myself and i can express myself in this work. i am fine art educated and qualified with and BA hons and an MA   long long ago. I apply my theories and understanding of art to the music making. as a painter i had a couple of ideas  .   one was every mark counts and to emphasis this i would use glazing techniques in the paintings which meant no marks were rubbed out. i try to do the same with the music hense layers on top of layers with all sound marks in the mix....  theres a brief explanation  kind regards to you Frans( u can tell i like Jazz)
