#2. Until The Distance

I started to formally learn piano when I was 23 years old. It was very difficult in the beginning, fortunately, I had good, VERY PATIENT, teachers. The first movement was one of the first "long" pieces I learned. The second movement, well... I didn't studied it with them, just by myself, but everytime I lose my temper, I remember what they taught me and how to keep going.
"Listen", "Practice", "Focus", "Breathe", "Be brave".

This is another song I wrote during the pandemic in 2021. I was really scared back then like I am now for our country. We are on the precipice of anarchy here in 2025 and I'm starting to think it will not end well for all of us. So I'm dropping this song of hope, It's about all people being united as one and about love! I worked very hard on this song, it took me several weeks to record and I used up every track on my old recorder. All the instruments are played by me, there is no A.I. in my music, and I'm singing all the vocals. It's a dream that I shared with Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy, I am a child of the 60's and I still believe in kindness, peace,  and love. I guess I'm an idiot for believing that in this enviorment today! Our beautiful dream is now quickly becoming a nightmare! I don't understand why we hate so much? What do we gain by hating everyone? We are good people! I think history is repeating itself again right in front of our very eyes! Please check out the video, you will not be disappointed!

     The video is brand new, I just finished it this week and since Easter is coming up, I put it at the top of the list. I worked for weeks on this video as well and I threw the kitchen sink at it! What the world needs now is love, sweet, love and I want all of us to remember the American Dream! I'm hoping and praying that the dream returns to us before it's too late!
