Thomas Solvert is a young musician from Madrid (Spain), with a great projection in the musical electronic scene as well in the national area as in the international one. His trajectory as a Deejay started in 2003. Since then he has played several styles of electronic music, getting form them knowledge which has served him to become one of the most avant-garde artist in the Spanish panorama. Nowadays he is working more house and tech-house. Thanks to all these experience behind the turntable and his great talent he won the Free Style Contest in the Room Studio 42 (Madrid) in 2008. This reward would be the most important start in his career, these would permit him to have more chances to work in many discos in Spain. He is working with agencies like SuperMatriX Group (Brazil) and LidoMarlins (Spain). "Cool and Fun" is what defines this artist in his shows.All his sets involve the best musical selection of the moment, nobody who assists his live shows can remain indifferent. The last years he has concentrated on the musical production, having signed with several records companies which are very important nationally and internationally.

Argentinian talent Diego Sosa makes his solo debut on Unnamed & Unknown with ‘Hip Hop’, comprising three fresh originals and a remix from Mad&Meis.

Self-taught Buenos Aires-based DJ/Producer Diego Sosa is fast becoming one of Argentina’s rising stars. With releases on the likes of Cocoa, Low Groove and many more, he returns to Unnamed & Unknown for his full solo debut with ‘Hip Hop’ - featuring a remix from label regulars Mad&Meis.

The release kicks off with ‘Everything I Want’, diving straight into a signature U&U style groover. Hearty drum work and crisp percussive rhythms pave the way for mammoth pulsating sub-bass and subtle hints of melody alongside injections of commanding vocal chops from end to end. 

Mad&Meis’ remix of ‘Everything I Want’ follows, switching up the flow with a swinging beat and heavy melodic presence. Piercing hat sequences and rising synths carry the track forwards whilst creative fills and vocal shots swirl around the mix - adding endless uptempo energy.

The title track ‘Hip Hop’ comes next, delving back into the world of rolling terrace-ready heaters. An enormous sub-bassline and catchy rap vocals demand your attention whilst you groove along to a concoction of punchy kicks, fizzing hats and tonal percussive ripples. A track built for the peak section of the dance, igniting fist pumps and foot stomps with relative ease.

The release closes on the aptly named ‘Percussive Thing’, supplying endless layers of instrumental movement and flair. A stripped-back groover with driving low-frequency focus, broken up with climactic builds and rolls that add shards of character to its explicitly underground and raucous feel.

The next EP on Libero Records comes courtesy of label frontman Mike Morrisey. After spending a considerable amount of time in quiet working on the Libero sound. The young Mancunian producer delivers a staunch EP package in the form of ‘System’, containing five fresh originals that are sure to get the most stubborn of dancefloors moving.

Opening the show, ‘System’ focuses on being a living, breathing Libero embodiment. Oozing with low-end frequencies and subtle percussion spread throughout the mix, it's driven by perpetual rhythm and an elegant vocal topline. A heavy roller with contrasting breaks and heaps of class.

‘Phuture’ is a more uptempo affair, with a punchy personality and a loosely swung groove. Still retaining elements of the label's ethos, this peak-time number is full of racy energy and an insatiably catchy vocal hook, as well as another rumbling bassline that will leave you involuntarily bobbing your head.

Mike takes things a little deeper with ‘Vamos a Bailar’, adding hints of glitchy synths with deep/garage house flavours that are becoming more prominent of late. Combine that with some Latin flair, a bouncy low end and you’ve got yourself a seriously unique fusion that will no doubt turn a few heads.

‘Energizer’ is aptly named in terms of the amount of energy it has to offer. The track offers a thumping low-end, with some reggaeton attitude and an acid synth/bass combo that is guaranteed to have you moving. A standout track with an enjoyable level of rudeness that you will want more than one serving of.

Mike seals the deal with the magnificent ‘Am Dun’. A complete curveball in the package but one you will welcome with open arms instantly. Skippy beat, groovy bass, crisp hats and plenty of shake; that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The track has a trick up its sleeve in the form of a blissfully nostalgic vocal that fires you back to a time when UKG was rife, before pulling you into the present day and filling it with unique tech-house goodness.
