Sunshine Lemonade began in NYC in 2005 when founding member, Thomas Wade Jackson met Tyler Mauney at the old Baggot Inn in New York's West Village. They quickly discovered that they had grown up 40 miles from each other, and immediately became best of friends. Thomas invited Tyler and his upright bass to join him and his singing partners Fran Correa, Erika Banks and Roy Ramsey for a gig on Staten Island and Sunshine Lemonade was born. Since then there have been many versions of the band which have included Artemis Dove,  Arielle R. Sullivan, Trina Basu Ramamurthy, Pamelia Hamilton, Ian Weir  & Earl Lamacs.

A little about Thomas Wade Jackson:
Thomas is an award-winning filmmaker, photographer and musician. He received his Masters Degree from Florida State University's prestigious College of Motion Picture Arts, where his thesis film, Slow Dancin’ Down the Aisles of the QuickCheck  won both the Student Academy Award and the Student Emmy Award, as well as 20 other awards and honors. The film's screenplay, and an interview with Thomas, is included in the fourth edition of the book Crafting Short Screenplays That Connect, published by Focal Press.
