Although it is hard to decide, and all of our mixes vary in style,  this was one of our favourite sets of the summer. We had a very memorable time on stage playing to a crowd full of Kootenay family! We have amped up our live shows by adding another set of decks for scratching and sampling, using custom vocals and samples of our friend Drew Hampson recorded ahead of time.  Hope you enjoy the "Naturalist Experience"

Immersed in jazz and folk since toddler times and fuelled by his passion for music, Soren Hodne has been DJ-ing under the alias 'Thomas Workshop' while in cohesion touring as a founding member, vocalist, writer and producer of Lazy Syrup Orchestra.

Additionally he produces house music centric events with his Soul Hop Productions team. Hosting international artists in Vancouver and co-creating dance opportunities with a focus on long form extended DJ sets.

With Lazy Syrup Orchestra, Soren has toured Internationally, performing on an array of festival stages as the group continues to evolve and develop new music.

He's happiest when surrounded by aquatic house music, basketball, breakbeats, disc golf, old school hip hop and plant based hygiene products.
