DJ'd dance music semi-professionally from 2000 until 2018, and additionally produced, performed, and released DJ sets not bound by genre under the name of Crooked Hollows before closing out the project in 2017. The Butler is a San Francisco based artist who has dedicated years to refining and developing a sonic landscape that is unmistakably his own. Early on in his DJ and production career, he was very influenced by the sounds of Deadmau5 and Disclosure, but it wasn’t until he found Boris Brejcha that he started cultivating his distinct sound.

His recent EP “The System” showcases his unique blend of Minimal, Techno, and Tech House and truly encapsulates his style. 

With recent releases on labels such as Hood Politics and KINDERGARDEN Records, he’s consistently shown that his work is highly anticipated and shines through the noise.

Thomas Machina is a versatile DJ / Producer hailing from Los Angeles, currently based in the Bay Area.
