Lifelong DJ, forever indebted to the sound of house. En route to producing a track I'd be proud to play in one of my own sets. Stay tuned; it's brewing in da house, electro & techno.

In memory of an amazing 90's movement, illegal parties, great raves, analogue mixing, dodgy sound systems, broken needles, chaotic DJ sets, lifelong friends, love, peace, and my residency Hidden Affairs @ AKA / The End in London.

Icelandic's producer and DJ Ohm, 
has continued to stay true to the spirit of techno. 
Thru the 1990s, Ohm learned a deep foundation of the growing worldwide techno surge that by 1999, 
he felt he was creative and eager enough to start writing his own music. 
Success came quickly with his debut; a collaboration with fellow Icelandic legend Exos on Force Inc records. 
This led to over 20 releases since on standout labels like Thule records, Rawax, Kontakt, Solid Groove., Taped Artifact, Ranges, Vade mecum , 
Vuo records and AE Recordings, and AE recordings Ltd, which he co-ran with Octal Industries and Thor from Thule Records.
A chance meeting in a Berlin records store with Andrey Puskarev and Pola led to releasing some music on the acclaimed All In Records and their sublabel Nilla. Shortly after, 
a release on Andrey's own label Luck of Access with Octal Industries followed. 
Now Copenhagen based, his DJ career is equally impressive having been a regular guest at the hottest spot in his area, Culture Box. 
In the past, gigs at Germany's Tresor along with various places all around Europe to clubs back home in Iceland, 
Ohm's style of DJing is the culmination of over 30 years in the techno scene. Being a beloved personality in the scene, 
Recently, Ohm has started his own imprint, OHM Series. 
This label focuses on having releases that feature a mixture of well-beloved veterans and some vibrant new names pushing techno's sonic boundaries.
Highlighting this balance is a prime example where his techno integrity is the cornerstone of its operation. 
He's blending tried and true techno sounds with techno's next visionaries which we can all agree that is a worthwhile endeavor for the direction. 
Ohm also runs two shows on Timeline music online platform. 
One showcases some of the best Danish artists for the last 2 years and a second show sees him playing the latest promo's he receives from industry connections and friends. 
So, what does the future hold for Ohm? More of it all in short. More new Ohm music productions and remixes. 
More top-notch music on his label OHM Series. More DJ gigs and more online shows. 
More innovating thru his own interpretation of all thing's techno.

Been into electronic music since 1985 during college.  Used to DJ in the mid/late 80s - still mess around on the decks 

Deep passion for house and techno and the iconic 80s bands which influenced me like Depeche Mode, New Order, Kraftwerk, Front 242, and Nitzer Ebb that started the movement to electronic music 🙏

Poyu ist seit knapp 20 Jahren deutschlandweit als DJ und Veranstalter aktiv. Engagements und Residencies in namhaften Clubs wie about:Blank, Farbfernseher, buerro, Gebäude 27 oder SchonSchön ermöglichten ihm Auftritte mit renommierten Acts wie etwa Gerd Janson, Edward, Oskar Offermann, Marie Lung, Jacques Renault, Malika, Ame, Mayaan Nidam, Philipp Berg, Newmen, Jacob Lauer oder Oliver Hafenbauer um nur einige zu nennen quer durch die Bundesrepublik.
Sein Sound bedient sich dabei sämtlicher Spielarten der elektronischen Musikkultur und verweist mit Bezügen zu Minimalismus, Berliner Schule, Disco der 70er Jahre und zeitgenössischer Detroit-/Chicago Note stets auf einen musikwissenschaftlichen Zugang und seinen genreübergreifenden Ansatz.

Gespielt wird überwiegend Vinyl aus einer über 3000 Schallplatten umfassenden Sammlung. Stets auf der Suche nach organischem Flow in Übergängen und mit einem Gespür für das reziproke Momentum mit dem Publikum. Listen!

Poyu is a DJ, Promoter and Musician from Mainz, Germany.
 
Studying Media and Music Sciences in Mainz, he has been working the last 15 years for different labels, agencies and clubs, such as Farbfernseher, D'Arc, SchonSchön, Gebäude 27 and AL FORNO. 

As a DJ he played alongside a long list of well-known artists over the past few years (for example): Brandt Brauer Frick, Gerd Janson, Ame, Smallpeople, Christopher Rau. Bene & Tommi, Mayaan Nidam, Soundstream, San Soda, Kyle Hall, Nina Kraviz, Tiger & Woods, Glenn Astro, Muff Deep, Johannes, Roland, Marie Lung, Gilberto, Dj Simlock, Max Graef, Tillmann Tausendfreund, Knowsum, Baby G, Eddie C, Jacques Renault.

A little bit about me:
       I`m a music-lover, addicted vinyl-collector and i share my passion in several ways. I DJ and i have a music-project called "lovedancing" together with Martin Elble from Offenburg, where we play back to back music like old Salsoul-Disco mixed with cosmic tracks or Hip Hop, 80ies, Italo-Disco and oldshool Deep-House tunes from Todd Terry, Quentin Harris, Francois K., Kerri Chandler, Blaze or Lil Louis, ... . Also new music like Âme, Rampa, Carl Craig, Charles Webster is allowed! Beside this, i organise also the electronic music dj-stage @ the festival DAS FEST in Karlsruhe, once a year!
