Following up his 2013 TSR release eMeltwater, Simon Templar - one half of Finnish duo Winkee - returns to Touchstone with another two part release. eTo The Stars is trance music of the highest order. ePt. 1 sets the tone, with rich layers of arpeggiated bass, sweeping pads and a huge cascading synth riff which builds relentlessly throughout the track. Unusually for tracks of this genre, there is no traditional breakdown at all, instead Templar moves the arrangement through twists and turns, locking people in a tight groove on the dancefloor. As if that were not enough, the +10 minute colossus that is ePt. II takes things deeper, with crunchy tribal percussion and washes of ethereal FX, crescendos of compressed pads, percussive hits and an understated lead riff. This is serious late-night, powerful, heads-down trance music.

Released in August 2018 on Forescape Digital, You Are My Salvation created a moment of beautifully uplifting trance with "Breeze." Now returning to the Swedish artist's track, remixes come courtesy of Rafael Osmo and Thomas Datt.

An artist with a strong musical pedigree, Thomas Datt has been at the vanguard of the modern trance scene for over 15 years. Initial success with "2v2" saw the Polish star feature on compilations by Tiësto and Paul Van Dyk. Going on to receive the plaudits and respect of fans and peers alike, Datt has seen his music signed to an array of blue-chip labels that include Future Sound of Egypt, Black Hole Recordings, ARVA and Anjunabeats. Regularly supported by the trance DJ elite, his work is also touted by everyone from Max Graham and Ferry Corsten to Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond. 

The Kolberg native now debuts on Yang with a glorious interpretation of "Breeze" that bristles with energy and shimmering melodic lines. Paying tribute to You Are My Salvation's work, the fast-paced track evolves immaculately with its intelligently crafted motifs and spine-tingling breakdown. Erupting into life in its third movement, Thomas Datt's skill and technique is in full evidence as chest-thumping kicks and rapid-fire percussion create an absolute dancefloor stormer.
