WEEK 40

Taking the keys for the thirtieth release, Dutch dynamo Cleanfield, who lays down a four track EP dripping in summer sun. 

The A side opens with ‘Sunshy’ a disco house banger, complete with bumping bass, sun-kissed toplines and warped Kool & The Gang synth warbles, before ‘Oregano’, takes you on a Mediterranean flavoured, supercharged dream house journey spliced with tripped out arppegiated wanderings. 

On the flip, ‘Krispy’ a tropical, synth-heavy party starter with sandy beaches and crystal-clear oceans in mind and ‘Caught In The Act’ an underwater sea sensation, drenched in drunken arps and a cocktail of chants, guitar licks and good vibes.

@heistrecordings's Round Up Series has year on year lavished us with some truly wonderful house music. If you haven't come across the series before the concept is simple but brilliant. Heist get together all of the artists who have released with them in the previous 12 months and get them to remix each others tracks thus creating entirely new takes on some of the labels finest moments.

This years crop of artists is another mouth watering prospect as Fouk, JKriv & Peter Matson, Marina Trench, Makez, Lore of the Samurai and Felipe Gordon all line up together.

Our premier today see's @felipe-gordon take over the remix duties on one of our favourite tracks of 2021 @Jkriv and @petermatson's 'New Friend', flipping it into a deep and scintillating slice of house music.

SAFT10 is a boogie infused record by Grodno Based producer  ́Four Walls  ́. Seemingly effortless the Belorussian newcomer to the SAFT family knits up an ecstatic wash of synths, pads and modish drum patterns.
The opening track  ́Limits ́ takes one into orbit with it ́s psychedelic synth sequences and moody rhodes. The track begins to ride half way which caters for an euphoric vibe in any setting, club and at home.
The A side follow up continues in a more positive fashion on Electronic Side. Bright rhodes are alternating with sublime synth sounds and advanced drum programming. SAFT Regular  ́Paula King ́ joins  ́Four Walls ́ on the summertime hymne, ́Time To Shine  ́. This is a true house track with positive vibrations, reminiscent of some early 2000 Garage anthems.
Chicagan of Rush Hour fame  ́Vincent Floyd ́ twists things round on the B2. His rework for  ́Time To Shine ́ revolves around characteristics but lush synth work that tempers the euphoric mood of the original and gives it some bite.
