André Galluzzi has been a vinyl DJ for over 25 years. During that time he has enjoyed residencies at some of the world's best known clubs, including Ostgut, Berghain and Tresor. An equally prolific producer, the past two decades have seen him release on labels such as Cocoon, Ostgut Ton, Cadenza, Ongaku Musik, Force Inc. Music, Plus 8 and Music Man. Born in 1973 in Frankfurt, Germany, André became dedicated to the fascinating world of rhythm very early on. When working as a bartender in a club, he got the chance to fill in for the DJ at merely 14-years-old; an experience that would greatly change the course of his life
Excelling behind the decks, he became a regular in a handful of clubs in the early 90’s. In 1994 he started working at the renowned record distributor Neuton, where he met Paul Brtschitsch, with whom he established the much-renowned Taksi Records label in 1995. One year on he joined Tresor as resident with the club at the peak of its global popularity. Following a move to Berlin, he then became the first resident at Ostgut, the parent club of the world-renowned Berghain.
Following Ostgut's closing in 2001, André released the legendary mix compilation, André Galluzzi: Im Garten and created a highly- influential event series, Submerge, which lasted for two years. Famed for his intoxicating 10-hour sets, Galluzzi became a regular Berghain and at Amnesia in Ibiza for Sven Vath's Cocoon party around this time also.
In 2005 he started a studio cooperation with Guido Schneider, which resulted in various releases on Cadenza, Cocoon and Highgrade, including their track Albertino, released in 2007.
Looking for a new playground, André established Aras in 2011, a platform for both his own music and up-and-coming talents. Known for its innovative and unconventional approach to electronic music, the label continues to be supported by some of the scene's foremost players. A true musical obsessive and a much-respected DJ and producer, André's passion for sound continues to inspire a whole new generation of dancefloor dwellers.

Biography:

„1998 I bought my first music programs,
in order to experiment a little with sounds around to educate
me to musical further and to revalue above all my DJ set.
When then the first Songs originated in to 1999/2000,
the style was settled still in the quite harder sector,
whereby I screwed always already beside at minimum pieces around.
Starting from 2000 I discovered then apart from my passion for 80´s Synthiepop,
EBM and old person electrical Songs,
tracks like “Panpot Spliff” from Ricardo Villalobos or Lucianos “Orange Mistake”,
which inspired me in the further process.
When then in my hometown opened record store,
my further musical way was predetermined.
Because with Marcel Knopf (Mo´s Ferry prod.) and Matt John (Perlon),
owners at that time of the shop, I became infected with
the minimalistic virus completely.
From then on there was hardly still another sound more.
In 2007 I signed a disk contract at the Thuringia Label ENLIVEN MUSIC,
where then also in January 2008 my first release in form of a track appeared
on the second part that label typical Compilation „Tailgate Party “.
Today I leave myself gladly from Jazz, Ambient,
Dubstep and Latin American music affect,
which I naturally build as cornerstone into my DJ & live set.“

Les Fils du Calvaire est un groupe français, composé de Jonathan, Damien et Clément, qui partagent leur vie et leurs activités musicales entre la capitale hexagonale et Berlin. 

À mi-chemin entre chanson, pop, house et techno, ce gang de potes trentenaires, inséparables depuis vingt ans, mènent de front deux projets : dOP, trio électro, déjà auteur depuis huit ans d’une cinquantaine de maxis, d’un album et de plus de sept cent concerts. Et Les Fils du Calvaire, un trio de pop francophone, initié en 2013, dont les chansons à l’inspiration ludique et sensuelle puisent autant dans le registre de la chanson que de la synth-pop eighties.

Le groupe possède déjà un solide bagage dans le domaine de la production. Entre 2002 et 2007, avant de se consacrer à dOP, ils figurent parmi les beatmakers de l’ombre les plus prisés du hip-hop français, enchaînant les sessions pour Oxmo Puccino, Mokobé, H Magnum ou Grems. À la même époque, ils composent aussi pour le Malien Cheick Tidiane Seck, mais aussi aux côtés de Aquarius Heaven, Jamalski ou des mythiques figures du reggae Horace Andy et Johnny Osborne.
En marge de dOP, on retrouve aussi la voix de Jonathan, sous le pseudo de JAW, pour de nombreux featurings dans l’électro (Cassius, Brodinski, Claude VonStroke) ou parfois la pop (Piers Faccini).

Au-delà du hip hop, du reggae ou de l’électro, Jonathan (paroles et chant), Damien (mélodies) et Clément (rythmiques) sont autant les enfants de la Chanson avec un grand « C » (Trenet, Aznavour, Brel), les héritiers du talk-over poétique à la française (Gainsbourg, Vassiliu), que les petits frères de Daho, Taxi Girl, Elli & Jacno et Bashung. Ainsi que de plus lointaines racines qui passeraient par l’easy-listening et la disco. Sans oublier un certain humour décadent, une forme de dérision existentielle, que résume à merveille le logo du groupe, en forme de point d’ironie (un point d’interrogation inversé).

Nouvel EP, nouvel album

Après « Femmes d'Affaires » (2013), un premier EP à la nonchalance ultra-sexy, remarqué sur les ondes de France Inter et de Radio Nova, nos trois fils du calvaire ont enregistré leur premier album au cours de trois longues sessions menées au cours de l’hiver 2014-2015, à Berlin. 

Logiquement titré « Fils de » (à chacun de compléter la suite), mixé par Ash Workman (à qui l’on doit le son de Metronomy ou de Christine & The Queens), cet album, annoncé début 2016, est précédé le 30 octobre par un premier EP 4 titres mené par « Rester Avec Toi », une comptine de pop synthétique, à la fois haletante et polissonne, dans laquelle la voix de la DJ et productrice électro Miss Kittin, vient se mêler à celle, chuchotante et chaleureuse, de Jonathan. Un parfait préliminaire à un album, résolument porté sur la chose, qui évoque avec humour, élégance et détachement, les thèmes de la séduction, de la solitude et des illusions masculines.

Au-delà de Miss Kittin, et de futurs featurings, dont l’identité est encore secrète, ce premier album est aussi marqué par la participation du parolier Pierre Grillet. L’auteur du « Madame Rêve » de Bashung, et de chansons pour Feist ou Christophe, a co-signé quatre textes pour Les Fils du Calvaire, dont l’un deux, « Single Boy » est déjà présent sur ce nouvel EP.
